    You have to consider the lag time on these reports. For example, there are reports of 3 people in NYC with the virus. That means they have probably had it for up to two weeks and how many people have they spread it to? The scientific models on this stuff are pretty scary.

    I have no idea what to think here in Socal. Got people telling me it's inevitable this thing spreads in large numbers and that schools will be shutting down soon for sure. Got others saying there's next to nothing to worry about. So, you know, I'm just washing my hands a lot.

    Interest rate cut... and the market still drops. Folks realizing it's going to be a rocky couple months at the very least.

    The odds of a recession are skyrocketing because of this. And that might be the least of our concerns.

    Stocked up on masks during the last fire that got kinda close -- but not really -- to my house. Was definitely overkill at the time, now I'm happy. My brother is a Wall Street guy and sees bad news for the economy the next few months. He's been wrong about a lot though. Maybe I can auction off my masks to the highest bidder -- it will help with what I lose in the market. Seriously though, everyone wash your hands and try not to panic. I'm sure everyone under 60 will be fine.

    Kobe's passion for whatever he was doing and incredible work ethic... well, you don't even to be a hoops fan to be admire those qualities. Truly special.

    McVay is basically pulling a young Leo Dicaprio and putting together a "**** posse" coaching staff. Young, handsome, rich and ready to smash all the chicks in LA. It was important to kick old man Wade to the curb -- dude was a total perv who scared a lot of tail away.

    They'll probably hire McDaniels and it will be a disaster. For one thing, I'm not sure why everyone thinks McDaniel is going to be some slam-dunk hire. He flamed out spectacularly his first time as a HC. Yeah, he's done great in NE before and after. He's also had the GOAT coach and QB -- kinda helps. And for another.... well, it's the Browns under Haslam.

    Just because some blogger boys say a coach is great doesn't mean it's true. And the blogger boys always love the young OC's -- they can relate to them. They jocksniff them and are so easily seduced by a five minute one and one with them. Particularly embarrassing with Hoffman and KOC, but it's the norm now.

    KOC sure as hell sounds like a millennial. How dare you ask me for a second interview? I'm young, I'm handsome, Albert Breer raves about me and our offense didn't look like a disaster for six quarters of football! But seriously, I'm sure he'll do fine going forward.

    Turner and Zampese have shown a more modern system with easier reads than KOC and people are freaking out why?

    I don't get the KOC love. Seems based on the fact that we lost Shanny and McVay more than anything else. But who the hell knows?
