  1. My girl goes to church every Sunday, its African, none of them are Trumpers. I've never seen this issue in any black church really, this isnt an across the board Christianity issue. 327 million Americans, 70% identify as Christian while only 62 million people voted for Trump, which no one can say were all Evangelicals. Are there hypocrites? Sure, but I have trouble with the idea either neither follows all the values or the ones that do are brain dead Trumpers. Dems need to wake up and target Evangelicals kids for their votes instead of giving up because they can't get their parents money.
  2. Dude, thank you so much for posting this, I always had a feeling this was unequivocal BS:
  3. Until Wall is gone, its the John Wall era to me. His contract keeps us from truly moving on to another one, and you know what, I'm not mad about it. At least he wanted to and still wants to be here, its not like we supermaxed Blatche.
  4. I can't expect a PG type haul because PG is better and the Clippers were desperate. That was a historical intentional overkill trade, offer they couldn't refuse, because they wouldn't get Kawhi if OKC turned them down. I'm tempering my expectations for something like that, we didn't decline the Clippers offer we just straight up told them "no" when they called from reports, sticking to our no trade guns. If the PG trade is any indication of what the clippers were trying to yell over the phone while were hanging up,there's no doubt in my mind Ted nixed it with Shep sitting there ready to cry. I'm not sure what we could get better then what the Clippers wanted to offer, why i think they are serious they don't want to trade him. Just my opinion though.
  5. Getting Bradley is a good move. Was expecting y'all to start resurecting dudes from the dead, but not yet apparently.
  6. If our front office was graded on a color chart right now, id move them out of incompetent. The terror threat has been officially lowered in my book. My only gripe this offseason is how they are handling Beal, which is likely being dictated by Ted. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if we were serious about a rebuild wed be taking offers for him. If you can't trade your best player for assets and being pressed to get out of the luxury tax, this offseason is almost the best one can hope for, or at least expect from a front office that's not laughing stock. Shep acting like he wants to use the Go-Go as a secret weapon of mass destruction. Put a ring on his finger already, Ted.
  7. Rumor is Houston wants him and his contract comes close to CP3's. The backcourt we deserve, as if you could make the west anymore psychotic, we might not win a game against that conference.
  8. My sister doesn't know what it was, showed her a clip of them playing it in the club and parents laughing like their kids had followed them : )
  9. Womens team has more swag then I've ever seen the men's team play with
  10. We look lost right now. US stadium got taken over and their team basically taking our lunch money being more physical then us. This is feeling like a loss that should act like a catalyst.
  11. Is it just me or is there a little bad blood between these two teams?
  12. Your missing my point saying this, but I'll take yours into consideration, its a good one. If Giannis plucks a star from someone else team or leaves Bucks high and dry he no different no matter where he's from. As a Wizards fan, i don't feel like this way of doing things is of any benefit to me, it'll never happen in my favor just my detriment. If that's the way it is, that's the way it is, but I don't have to like it. @Hersh is right that if the Wizards are a playoff team again and someone sets us back by getting one of our stars to want to out and go elsewhere, this and wizards thread will have a miny riot and we won't have to go looking for fans to get their perspective on what just happened to them. The draft picks don't matter if the stars leave before getting a ring, we just sitting here hoping nobody cucks us after finally looking like we might semi-know what were doing for a change.
  13. One more month, you got this
  14. What are we a 20-21 homerun streak? I'm more worried about that then our pitching. But it's worrying about something out of our control, cross that bridge when we get there.
  15. It's tough because OKC has absolutely made mistakes that kept them from being a championship team. 29 other teams a year can say that. More i think about how to articulate this, this isn't a small market vs big market problem, this is less successful franchise versus superstar problem, and its flowing on a year by year basis. To a casual fan (not saying you are), they may see this offseason and see more parity then probably every before. That's not a bad thing. If your Milwaukee, you look at this realize your window might not be Giannis getting too old, but his next contract or that phone call they can't stop. I would be absolutely sick to my stomach if i saw that, itd mean none of us are safe.
  16. Idk, man, 28 teams don't make the finals every year, seems like a dangerous argument to make. Is that the lithmus test we really want to go on? That'd mean 14 playoff teams every year with no room to talk if this happens to them.
  17. Had to go to RealGM for context from an actual Thunder fan. Consensuse is their GM is an idiot but took a deal they couldn't refuse which makes up for PG putting them in place where they have no choice but to rebuild. It comes back to not being sure what the picks will turn into and how long that will take. They are in the beginning stages of realizing they are a farm team because their ownership is too cheap to do what needs to be done with the luxury tax even if they hit on those draft picks. That fanbase knows they are getting the ass end of everything still wrong with this league exacerbated by a cheap owner and inconsistent front office. Most are okay with trading Russ but concerned they won't be able to so maybe they will take those picks to try and get another star instead if giving up, which didnt work when they got PG. They are trapped between being a low playoff seed and a true rebuild even with that pick haul, they are still in purgatory and hoping for the best.
  18. We cannot go about this as unenforcable therefore not worth the effort. I saw your point on what if WoJ puts out a tweet, NBA should have right to cross-reference his sources to make sure he isn't making **** up or getting played. I think what you really saying is you don't want the NBA to turn into the FBI, but NFL does investigations all the time, working with whoever they gotta work with even if in the end they decide its all good and don't suspend anyone. It's a complex problem, get it, but they are shooting people in broad daylight right now.
  19. Kinda don't want a break, concerned it will dent our momentum.
