  1. I think Denver has to take QB in the 1st after the way Lock looked yesterday. I just don't see us trading up. Best we can do is build the team and go with a vet stopgap if Alex retires.
  2. Haskins misses a WIDE OPEN Steven Sims for an easy TD on 3rd and goal (where he stared down Terry the whole play). Alex was clearly hurt. Alex still makes that td to Steven Sims. Check out 6:35
  3. Dalton hasn't been horrible honestly. He's got a trash o-line with all the injuries, and has suffered from dropsies from their WRs. He's still got a good arm.
  4. Riddick is good on TV, but he's had some big misses. Thought Jalen Ramsey was a huge reach. LOVED Cam Erving. LOVED Haskins.
  5. My guess is Indy. They have boatloads of cap room. Plus, Detroit trades him out of the conference
  6. Darnold is a million times better than Haskins, but I'm not trading anything of significance for him. For one, he's close to FA. For two, he's regressed really badly. Thirdly, he seems injury prone.
  7. Yeah, we won't have as much cap room as we expect considering Scherff is a must resign, and Rouiller could be heading there (depends on what the staff think about Ismael). Dallas isn't going to let Dak leave. If Alex retires, what about Dalton? He's in his early 30s and won't cost anything near what the market rate is (15 million plus). Say we draft Rondale Moore (1st), Pat Friermouth (2nd), best RB available at the SF pick, and best CB available with our 3rd round pick. I think Dalton could be serviceable here.
  8. Random post from the Bengals Message board about wanting to hire Jay as their new head coach. http://thebengalsboard.com/Thread-Bring-Back-Jay-Gruden-for-Head-Coach Apparently, Taylor has been a disaster. The vast majority want him fired. Gruden can certainly coach an offense. He'd get Burrow to play great and scheme wide open WRs.
  9. Nah, they've played better recently, and will probably keep him. They aren't going to be an attractive job (compared to Chargers (Herbert) and Jets (have two extra 1sts coming from the Adams trade and likely Lawrence)). By default, they are the 2nd best team in the division next year.
  10. There are going to be MANY openings in the league in the off-season: Already Looking: 1). Detroit 2). Atlanta 3). Texans 100% goner: 4. Jets (Gase) Most-Likely to be goner: 5). Jags (Marone) 6). Chargers (Lynn) 7). Bears (Nagy) 50/50 goners: 8). Eagles (Pederson) 9). Bucs (Arians) 10). Bengals (Taylor)
  11. I thought Biadez fell because of injury concerns
  12. I don't think you can resign both. Chase has been a stall worth in the sense that he's always available. However, He's probably an above-average center. He'll get paid. We need to resign Scherff. We drafted Ismael for a reason. My guess is that Chase gets too much money in FA and we have to reluctantly pass on resigning him.
  13. We kind of want the 49ers to lose. We have their 3rd round pick.
  14. Yeah, it’s probably a luxury pick, but those top guys are all studs.
  15. Taulia looks like best qb md has had in years! Basically since Scott mcbrien.
  16. Gary was squeaky clean. He never cheated. The Rudy Gay recruiting was really shady. The Post did a remarkable 3 part series on why MD fell off after the title. Basically, Gary refused to play the game. He chose Gilchrist over Deron Williams. Obviously bad in hindsight, but Gilchrist was really good and led them to the ACC tournament win. Its not like he sucked.
  17. Steelers are an ensured loss. They are one of the best teams in the NFL. Ditto Seattle. San Fran might be a game if the defense shows up, but who knows.
  18. Nah, we WANT Dallas to win. They still have a really tough schedule (Ravens, Steelers, Packers to name a few).
  19. AJ Green is done. Boyd and Higgins have surpassed him.
  20. National Harbor makes more sense to me than DC simply because of the potential gambling element at MGM and that its on the Beltway.
  21. Ertz is a really good receiver, but he's a poor blocker, and he's probably past his prime. I'd pass. Why pay for the 3rd contract on a premium player? Christian actually looks ok at times. Cooley gave him a solid grade and he was going against Garrett (I know he gave up a strip sack, but he's Myles Garrett). Christian was pretty effective against Chandler Jones too. I'd give Christian the season to see if he's a serviceable Donald Penn type average LT. If we are in a position to take a rookie QB (be it Lawrence, Lance, Fields, or even Kyle Trask), I'd go in that direction in the first round and bail on Haskins (I'm not a believer in his accuracy and touch at all).
  22. If we have a top 3 pick, it means Haskins played garbage the whole year. We have to take a QB then.
