Posted this on the draft thread: Going over scenarios, I'm pretty sure the best we can pick is 8th overall (IF WE LOSE). Games of importance for us draft positioning (IF WE LOSE): Minnesota @ Detroit Dallas @ New York Giants New Orleans @ Carolina Las Vegas @ Denver Root for the bolded teams above. If all the above happens, Dallas probably gets a lower SOS and picks 7. I figure Carolina will lose (Saints still have a shot at a bye). Detroit stinks, but Dalvin Cook is out. Hopefully Bevell tries to get a win this week. Hopefully Denver does us a solid. Best thing is that we can concentrate on rooting for those outcomes since they are earlier in the day.

Yeah, it was obvious the FO thought it was a major need (hence the going after Cooper). There are some good cheap vet WRs available this Off-season who might be solid WR2s... 1). Hilton 2). Marvin Jones 3). AJ Green (although he looks close to done) I don't want Galloday (too costly and too injury prone). Godwin isn't getting out of Tampa.

Yeah, I agree with you. Stafford is the only guy who'll require a 1st, and I'm not trading our 1st for him (if he goes, he'll go to an AFC team probably like Indy or NE). Dalton is a FA and he's not horrible. Kyle Allen was acceptable. Heck, what if Heineke balls out? We desperately need another TE on the roster (Sprinkle is a JAG), at least one other LB, a future LT, WR2, and WR3, potentially CB2 and CB4, FS.

I think Foster might be a keeper. Sheehan has been saying that they like him. He's certainly going to get a shot this week LOL. Was productive with the Bills in 2018 (27 catches for 541 (20 YPC) and 3 TDs). He's probably just a WR4. You are right. We need significant improvement for WR2 and WR3. Hilton and Marvin Jones would be vet stop-gap types. Use the 2nd round pick to target a dynamic slot WR (like Rondale Moore, Toney, or Elijah Moore if he slips).

Yeah, you can tell the team had ZERO confidence/juice whenever Haskins played. The second Heineke comes in, they started playing better. Dalton is a FA. He's not horrible. Just needs protection. He's still got a good arm. The weird thing is that if we resigned Keenum, we probably win the division this year going away LOL.

Heinicke Hive: The LEGEND of Taylor Heinicke Thread

We win if he started. -
I think the Jets do take a QB honestly. Their GM (Joe Douglass) didn't draft Darnold. I think Wilson is destined to go there. They still have Seattle's 1st to take BPA (probably another o-lineman or RB) and a ton of cap space. I don't see how Detroit trades up. That roster is trash (how did we lose to them?). All of the WRs are FAs, they have no defensive speed AND no cap space. They can't trade Stafford for a 1st, and then trade that 1st+their own to move up. Either trade Stafford and hope Lance falls, or get as many picks as you can, tank, and draft the QB next year. A team isn't going to trade a vet QB w/o a ready replacement. Right now, I have: 1). Jax-Lawrence 2). Nyj-Wilson 3). Mia-Sewell (could be Fields honestly. Tua has been pretty bad. Move Jackson to RT) 4). Atl-Parsons (Atl have NO cap space. Getting rid of Ryan is impossible. They need to rebuild) 5). Cin-Chase (Burrow-Chase reunited. Green is gone this off-season. Boyd is more of a slot. Higgins is a big body) 6). Phi-Smith 7). Det-Lance

Well, we can certainly use his height with Haskins airmailing all his throws
