  1. As a Commanders fan, I can see we're going to need antidepressants, hypertension meds, and some heavy pain killers. Thanks!
  2. Wentz gonna burn that blitz! Dudes not getting beat by Junior twice in a row.
  3. Wes Schweitzer is a better RG than Turner anyway. OL pretty much is the starting 5. Better to use Turner as a backup imo.
  4. I was fine until RR said he was nervous! Then it's been like... Those are long...jeez, great timing
  5. Just woke up...it looks sunny on the pre-game
  6. I don't think that's how it works. Owners of teams aren't required to build stadiums. Owners want new stadiums because it draws in more revenue, but it's not a franchise requirement.
  7. That's the second reason I only pop in before and after the game. Afterall, this is entertainment.
  8. That's cool! Love a successful rehab story. He'll have limited reps and probably see him get hit, then everyone will watch to see if he gets up!
  9. At this point, BR is crossing off the infection window as the wounds are closing. It would be common to have drains removed and antibiotics finishing up around now. Everything needs to be clean and closed with no signs of infection after 2 weeks.
  10. Forecasts are inaccurate but I see the projection to be late afternoon (3-4 PM showers). Throw it early and often!
  11. Week 1 vs JAX Not the worst team in the NFL anymore with all the additions in JAX. The question remains can WSH D can get off the field? I'd guess Lawrence is better in his 2nd year but continues to attack the outside and runaway from the pocket. Maybe a measured improvement week 1, but still needing a few weeks to be locked in. I would expect him to drastically improve but week 1 won't be his best game. WSH needs to be avg or better on defense and get a couple of turnovers (+1) A defensive score could win the game. If the D fails, they lose easily. If turnover diff. is negative (-1) I'd flip the score. WSH 27 JAX 24
  12. This is not true. Chase never injured the patellar tendon in his other knee. They used a piece of the tendon (graft) to repair his ACL in the other knee. He never had injuries in both knees.
  13. He broke his thumb vs KC and had surgery to pin it...he's far from fine. Thumbs are hard to break but when they do, they break at the base 80% of the time. Mechanism is a jam type hit and it breaks at the base. He won't be playing without a clubbed hand for many weeks. Forget about him catching a pass or recovering a fumble, which is his job!
  14. Just for good measure...Rehab process for an ACL reconstruction will include swelling and pain. The body heals by naturally producing scar tissue (internally) and scabs (externally) to patch/protect and repair itself. After long periods of immobilization and weight restriction, scar tissue has to be exercised and released (torn), in a systematic and progressive plan. Normal swelling and irritation results from the normal rehab process. There's a fine line between progress and re-injury. Think of a two steps forward, one step back until pain and swelling is controllable. Then, a final approach includes stacking pain free, no swelling workouts to go with increased strength and mobility.
  15. Here, Daniel will help you figure it out. Gibson was a dog last year... Proof is in this clip: https://giphy.com/clips/puppybowl-puppy-bowl-2021-xvii-88hvFOVsvEObCUjehZ
  16. They know. That's why they replaced the DL coach and had Warren Sapp consulting. They need to find another gear. They've been working on something.
