  1. We'd all like to see it. Nobody's holding him down except himself. It was foolish to expect different results and put all your eggs in one basket by not bringing in real competition.
  2. Something! They fired the warning shot. They've gotta find a niche for him. Put him in a situation to make a play vs standing there looking lost.
  3. That's a big deal. Mostly for pass pro. Rushing could be affected, but if they can push the pocket Goff will struggle.
  4. One week is a glimpse. Two weeks is a trend. Three weeks is expectation. If the offense repeats with similar results and they win, then they're on a roll going forward. It's that consistency that they've been talking about. I perceived Wentz really needing to get on a roll as the #1 key to him being successful. Another W and it starts to get interesting. Watch all the haters rally then!
  5. Davis is costing them too much to play him, just like last year. They're going to be more angry towards him as they doubled down on ths guy and lost again. They'd be better off if they just use him with some creativity when it's a pass play... and delay blitz him. He's worthless in coverage. Last year he was rated dead last at pass defense for LB'ers. That was supposed to be a pre-draft strength and the results are the game is too big for him right now. Forget he was a 1st round pick. That doesn't matter anymore. Davis is a rotational/development player right now, not a starter. Find a way to solve the team defense issues now. Been preaching it for months and they better go get a decent LB'er because it's going to be costing them W's.
  6. The betting line for the Over/Under started at 46 initially and now it's been as high as 49.5. DET being at home is worth 3 pts and DET -2.5 is now -1.5 and dropping. This seems to say that before Wk1 money was on DET and now money is going to WSH +1.5
  7. Pick'em game, so every fanatic should be picking their team...but some of you got no respect.
  8. When you grossly overdraft a LB'er in the 1st round.
  9. It's usually the best practice to be extra cautious, though all injuries don't carry the same risks. I think WSH Chief Medical Officer (CMO) reviews each case before being cleared for contact. The results from being cleared will include a plan to avoid re-injury. I'm not going to write one up but it includes threshold limits and protective equipment. Like rep limitations (pitch count), and braces, supports, and padding. We can be confident that nobody is getting pressed for duty in the first month.
  10. Da Wentz train is a Wild Ride! It's like he's in the office getting it done, then suddenly here comes this silly little yellow Wentz to screw it up!
  11. He'd be in the window for week 5. His issues are muscular. Without infection it's the same window as a muscle tear 4-6 weeks. However, it sounds more and more like his wounds were surface and minor subsurface. Would heal faster if the affected muscle weren't deep enough, or cross fibers. He was lucky, he could be back 100% week 5.
  12. Some good intel on these guys. BRob avoided infection and his wounds are closed or he wouldn't have been progressed to increase range of motion and low impact cardio. Lucky🍀👍 He'll play week 5 vs TEN. Chase is progressing fast now. "Young has been conservatively projected to rejoin the Commanders later this season. Young soon will have his knee reevaluated by Dr. James Andrews, but the team believes he will be back well before the season's midway mark. Young already has been performing in defensive line drills, running through hoops and changing directions." This stage of rehab is tricky. There's a fine line that's hard to find between progression and setback risk, because the next big step is being cleared for contact. Do you want to be the guy that clears him for contact too early!? I don't. That's a huge decision. Dr. Andrews won't clear him if he's not presenting as +90%. He can have some post workout swelling and soreness, but can't proceed until it's gone. I expect him to be cleared for practice after week 4. Full practices after week 6 and be eyeing GB @ home week 7 👍
  13. Fair enough opinion, but let's see if your right. Each year is aimed to be an improvement. You have to pass or fail the test. Week 1 was a Pass. If DET can't run, Goff won't outscore Wentz in a shootout. I think WSH can beat DET blitzing and bombing. Just don't turn the ball over.
  14. Yeah I wasn't thrilled when they traded for him. I try not to fall for the media narratives anymore, rather it raises suspension and I try to figure out the truth for myself. Sometimes it's easy to figure out, like with Wentz. He needed to be somewhere that would help in every aspect. When I saw he was getting everything, including surrounding him with playmakers, then I felt like he would be good. He makes all the throws TH couldn't. The offensive attack just has to be relentless, no momentum swings.
  15. I was happy at how Turners game plan started. Well done at the start. Turner needs support from Ron to get the team better prepared for the second half. I think Turner is limited about a few things and second half, self scouting for anticipating adjustments from the opposition is a flaw. He needs more help. RR must be better and make sure the team plays 60 min and not 30 or 40 minutes of 100% effort. Turnovers happen, but their turnover diff was bad last year and it must be positive. Wentz needs to get on a roll and continue to build momentum.
  16. Agreed. Watched the DET/PHI game and DET was taking what was there in their come back. PHI couldn't stop Swift. Goff hit a few targets (he likes Hockenson and Chark). PHI is still a rushing offense. Hurst is half a QB, half RB, and not Lamar Jackson. WSH has the better QB, WRs, and OL. There's more ways for WSH to win vs DET. Week 1-4 (first month) is an evolving identity period for undeveloped rosters. Can't really get accurate lines for picks just yet, so I think DET being favored at home -2.5 is a Pick'em. DET is going to win it or be in it at the end of it. Wouldn't expect anything less than a close finish. Home Team finds another way to lose. Goff doesn't elevate their chances like Wentz can for WSH.
  17. Of course. The RR Company didn't want to pay him because he can't cover as well as he can play close to the line. Collins thinks he's a DB, but he's a 3rd LB'er. They are too far off with his value to make a deal. WSH is the loser because they could pay a little more for a rental and get a guy that already knows the plays, helps solves depth issues, and is playing for a contract. Might want 10M/yr or something? Just a guess, but clearly he believes a S will go down somewhere and he'll get a call.
  18. Same dilemma as the BRob knee shooting... We'd need to know if the shot grazed the beans and franks. You know you're Da'man when your boss requests a scan of your Boyz! Guess which one is Dan?
  19. It's rare to find a guy like London Fletcher in free agency or peaks at the end of his career. They should take a shot but can't overpay.
  20. They'll have to add a DL or 2. I've said it before, LB'ers are too slow to react. Holcomb is limited. They need to revamp the LB'er group and find a better QB for the defense. Jamin is an over-drafted project. I agree with those that don't believe they'll add any older guys, but two things will change that: 1- Injuries 2- Winning (Because they see they're only 1 player away from contention. Right now this defense can't beat enough offenses to be in serious contention. This much is clear. As clear as it is that the offense is ready to contend.
  21. I haven't finished a close game since 1991. It's pathetic. I walk away or shut it off because of anger issues. I'll check the final score and if they win, then I'll go watch the replay.
  22. This is confusing to me. Each season I go with the Bandwagon Fast Pass. It allows you to jump on and off the bandwagon each Quarter.
