You can actually do both. Have a reporter on (multiple reporters will start repeating themselves) and then take calls. Growing up in Philly, the best sports talk were shows with a single host who took calls. Ken Beatrice was like that here and was very well regarded. The current format of multiple hosts on a show is unappealing to me.

I haven't been in the upper level in 20 years. Obviously a lot of seats have been gone for a while. Were a lot of concession stands closed or something? "Draft pick" is great, but we had the same one 4 years ago and now that guy is in SF and this team has been crap. Hopefully new ownership will do a better job. It'll be very hard to do worse.....

Czaban put this ranking out on Twitter as worst to best coaches under Dan: From an expectations POV, I don't see how Shanny isn't up there with Riv as most disappointing. Czabe defends Shanny because he drafted Kirk (who has done zero with the Vikings). Yes, Mike was hamstrung by the Mara encouraged cap.penalty, but his first two years before that were forgettable, and of course his last season was a disaster.

I think under Spurrier in 2003 we went from 3-1 to 5-11. And I believe we did the same under Shanny in 2011.

Wonder if WB36 is still busy wrestling Mongols. I'd love to hear his take on the Eagles late season woes. There have been some cool fans of opposing teams over the years. Tom Giants Fan, who I guess said he's had some health issues. Pittman4Two is another one.

Jumbo, I think that's the most depressing aspect. Partisans did not like it when the other side won, but accepted the results. I think, thanks to Trump, we are going to forever have a large percentage of people now questioning the legitimacy of the presidential elections every four years, mainly from the GOP side.

Maybe people are making noise about Sirianni because of what happened with Doug Pederson. The Eagles actually won a Super Bowl with Doug and made the playoffs the next two years (albeit with a much less gaudy record than 2017), before faltering to the 4-win 2020 season which could probably be somewhat attributed to covid messing a lot of stuff up. Point is that one would've thought that the Lombardi would've given Doug some grace after a losing season.....seems like that wasn't the case.
