My mother is from Raton. Visited numerous times. Was a shock that (at least at the time) mail was only delivered 2-3 times per week and you had to go over the mountains to places like Pueblo, CO for a hospital or anything fancy. She was very happy to have escaped that life. It was always an idyllic place to visit but an absolutely dead town with no prospects.

I may have been charitable saying the nuggets would only lose by 30. also, this game is doing nothing to convince me Rudy Gobert isn’t as over rated as I think he is. I just don’t like defensive centers with no offense. I think they should not exist in the game anymore. They’re relics.

Maybe it's more dealing with Ant then Gobert? Could all be in his head, I realized Ant was probably the strongest guard in the NBA almost soon as he was drafted. Overall the Wolves are a really good defensive team, you don't have to blame it all in them, but man, as big as I felt Denver was compared to Miami last year that **** doesn't seem to matter right now.

long defenders in the nba do not shut down stars, that’s not a thing that exists. Can they frustrate them? Sure. Usually though what they do is reduce their scoring output a bit and reduce their efficiency. whats happening to Murray is bizarre. He’s having a meltdown on the floor right now, fouling guys for no reason while yelling at refs. Wolves have him rattled. And Mike Malone too, who should have been tossed.
