Ok...while I will admit that the idea behind this thread is damn funny and all, you can't tell you were you frustrated yesterday on those plays were Brunell had time and just flat missed guys. Must have been 4 or 5 times he missed them when they were open and a couple of them would have been good for TD's.

He is not to blame for everything but hey, let's call a spade a spade shall we?

Brunell's stats of 8 for 22 for 96 yards with all the support he got on the ground and on defense is just a pathetic effort.

He looks like Joe Theismann circa 1985 just before the bottom fell out in that Monday Night game vs. the Giants.

He is killing the Redskins because he can't make plays with his arm. And the rollouts used with the frequency the Skins do, limits the effective field for the qb.

A steady diet of rollouts and a qb throwing on the run or without getting his feet set doesn't seem to be the best way to cut down on mistakes and gain consistency.

What seems to be unsaid by the coaches in running this scheme is that Brunell is not physically capable of holding up in the pocket and delivering the ball on queue.

All you have to do is watch what other qbs are able to do in the air even when there is coverage and even when the rush is bearing down.

Geez, you look at Roethlisberger thread that ball into receivers' hands with Dallas defenders right there on the spot and you see 5-8 throws a game for yardage that the Steelers get that the Redskins have NO HOPE of getting completed.

Outside of the Dallas game, Brunell's yardage stats look like those of a running back not a quarterback

It's that bad :(

sorry, Henry, the last playoff game I saw the Redskins play Gus Frerotte was the qb for the Lions, which was about SIX teams ago for him

I look at this club and what happened yesterday (mostly good) and wonder HOW a guy with that kind of positive energy around him couldn't muster more than we saw.

Are we going to cross midfield against the Eagles?
