Dan T.
Isn't he good, Norwegian wood? Ola Kimrin looked very solid. What's his future? Hall has not been able to stay healthy, so do you try to stash Swedish Thunderthighs away somehow?
NoCalMike
his kickoffs were much deeper then Hall's but then again Hall also has been kicking hurt all year. It definately looks like we have a guy that will allow Hall to heal as slow as need be.
Oldskool
I'm not sure that we'll keep Kimrin on the squad when Hall comes back. On the other hand, we did cut Koslwski to make room so he might stay.
iheartskins
I am just as happy with Kimrin as Hall at this point. Granted we paid a lot more for Hall than Kimrin, but I'd rather have someone who is injury free and cheap than someone we've spent a lot of money on who we are waiting on to produce (Hall or Morton). For as strong as he seemingly is, his kickoffs aren't usually very deep. I'm a fan of Hall, he's been pretty clutch, and he's willing to tackle too, but Kimrin seems like the real deal. It's a happy dilemma.

panel
It is good to have a second guy, and thank goodness we got him, but I'm not sold on his accuracy yet.

SkinsNYC
If norwegian wood is good enough for the beatles it is good enough for the da skins.
TheDane
Give Sweden credit where credit is due. Ola the Swede is, naturally, a Swede. You're all welcome to have Swedish Wood, if you so choose. Norwegians would be very upset at this modesly insulting yet grossly inaccurate confusion. Just remember, they all used to be a part of the Kingdom of Denmark. I agree with you about Morton, but Hall was one of the only bright spots on our team last year, very reliable leg, and LED the NFC or NFL in touchbacks last season. He's been hampered a bit this year. Plus, the second Olo Kimrin kick seemed a bit wayward to me, if it was farther out, it may have been a miss. I'm glad he can kick, but I cant wait for Hall to be healthy and return.

Dan T.
Dane, the confusion stems from yesterday's game thread, where there was some question as to whether Ola was Swedish or Norwegian. Being too lazy to actually look it up, I figured I would cover my bases using nicknames that covered both.

cphil006
Bottom line is you need a kicker who stays healthy...they are expendible, but need to be reliable...

When your country is small and obscure to begin with, you need to scrape and claw for as much recognition as possible. Just giving you a hard time. Besides, I'm only half Scandinavian, so it's only half a big deal .
SkinsBry
Ha ha. I love the title of the thread. On the subject at hand, RdsknBill and I were both commenting on the job Ola was doing yesterday. I'd like to see him stick around a while longer. Let Hall get back to 100% however long it takes.
