Cooked Crack
Quote Thomas Jefferson University is apologizing for one of its graduation ceremonies. During the commencement on Thursday, several names were dramatically mispronounced. It happened during the school's College of Nursing graduation. The school said it happened because of the way the phonetic spellings were presented on the speaker's cards. The presenter did apologize. https://6abc.com/videoClip/thomas-jefferson-university-apologizes-after-commencement-presenter-flubs-names/14797689/ Literally the worst pronunciations you've ever heard.

PeterMP
Apparently, they gave her the phonetic spellings without telling her so. She thought she had how the names were actually spelled and was trying to guess at the pronunciations. She must have thought they had a bunch of students with very odd names.
