As per NFL.com (and others) Redskins trade with Panthers for Kyle allen (QB)

Dude's contract is so small there is a real possibility he does not even qualify as top 52 before cut-downs. That is insane for someone in his position. At that value, he is going nowhere, as he shouldn't.

 

Only way they let this guy go is if there are complications w/ his injury.

Feel bad for the guy since he seemed to have us going in the right direction and it might have been his only shot to start.  Hope he makes a full recovery.  To me, it was an obvious cheap shot but whatever.

Leg whips happen.

 

Losing two QBs in two years to leg whips is very unusual.  
 

Look forward to having Kyle on the team next year.

Yeah, it worries me that Smith is even playing.  I think he is probably best for us winning but I cringe every time he takes a hit. Wish they'd go in a different direction and let Smith retire in the off-season while still being able to walk.  Sometimes you have to protect guys from themselves and I really feel that is the case here.  I don't know...he has been through so much that I hate for it to end of negative note.
