Lol not up here. Busses used to slide all over the road and school wouldnt be cancelled. It literally had to be snowmageddon before they would cancel.

In my school (Fairfax Co), we figured out that if they were closing school early, they wouldn't tell the students (lest they leave early).  But you could go to the pay phones (Yes, we had dinosaurs, too) in the hallway, call the main number, pretend to be a parent, and they'd tell you they were closing early.
