The symmetry of this is crazy too. 30 for 30 does this 30 years after they go 3-0. Very happy for those guys. HTTR
BleedBNG
I'm glad the players are getting their due because it was a lot of fun back then, but the team that won the SB would have won the division anyways even if we had lost all 3 replacement games. We would have tied St. Louis and Dallas for head to head, but won out with divisional record.

The Washington Redskins will honor their 1987 replacement team that won all three games by giving them Super Bowl rings next week. The team will hold a ceremony Tuesday at its practice facility with replacement players and the general manager of the '87 NFL champions, Charley Casserly. It's an unusual move considering how divisive the replacement games were during the NFL players' strike that season. But the replacements helped Washington go 11-4 overall — one game was canceled by the walkout — before winning two playoff games and the Super Bowl over Denver. Here's another - Why not have it at a game or pre-season game where a lot of fans can show their appreciation? It would sure go a long way to finally put a bow on this. A preseason game or maybe the opener would be ideal.
