Kosher Ham
Nope lol...just assumed he meant Ringo didn't live up to his rep or something. Ringo wasn't the only one called a Daisy.
Califan007 The Constipated
Ringo wasn't the only one called a Daisy. Actually didn't he tell Ringo he was not a "daisy"? I thought he was taunting him with that as he died...
Kosher Ham
I think it was earlier that he called him a daisy.
Califan007 The Constipated
I think it was earlier that he called him a daisy. Well, I know Doc told Ringo he wasn't a daisy after he shot him and he was staggering around...something like "you're no daisy...you're no daisy at all". At any rate, what the hell is a "daisy"? lol
Kosher Ham
I could type it but the filters would not allow it. Sorry Cali. You are smart enough to figure it out. My worries are situated.
AsburySkinsFan
Popular with the critics? It won the Oscar for Best Picture. It is a faaaaaaaaaaar better movie than Tombstone. Also, when does something being critically acclaimed mean it's not good? There are a lot of movies that weren't well reviewed that are great. But I'm struggling to think of one that got well-reviewed that sucks. It won the Oscar because Clint had never won before. No way was it better than Tombstone. Xameil
Real Genius was pretty funny, I gotta admit lol...didn't seem like it would be at first. Not the best movie ever made but it has a ****-ton of quotable lines. Professor Hathaway: I want to see more of you around the lab. Chris Knight: Fine. I'll gain weight. "You still run?" "Only when chased" "You didn't clean up the place?" "Umm, no" "Good,... because I had this filed under H for toy"
AsburySkinsFan
So then don't watch it as a Western. Watch it as a love story. It is Bridges of Madison County set in the old west. That said why no mention thus far of "Open Range", yeah it has Costner who tends to make a 4 hour movie out of a 90 min flick, but it is a good gritty no frills western. One of my favs now. Still Tombstone is awesome, great memorable larger than life characters, western macho attitudes, shoot outs and some classic dialogue.

"Can you hammer a 6 inch spike through a board with your penis?" "Not right now..." "Something strange happened to me this morning.." "Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of Sun-God robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?" "No." "...Why am I the only person who has that dream?"

I'll fight to the death for Tombstone's honor. Gonna have to go with The Big Lebowski though....
