RedCapital
Wouldn't West Coast Pistol Whip make more sense?
Gart Monk
Its the "Play Action Offense" they've been patiently working on it since 2010. Poor Rex got destroyed in it because he is an immobile vertical pocket passer. I like to think that Rex has done a ton to get this offense to it's current status. This would also explain why WAS didnt draft a qb last year. Patience paid off by aquiring RG3. This team is poised to be dominant by the start of 2014. Dannyc
I'd just call it the pistol offense. The only other team I could think of that runs the pistol this much is Chris Ault in Nevada and I think that's what he calls it.
skinsfan07
East Coast Pistol Whip Money. I'd roll with that.
Saqs
Whatever we call it everyone is eager to break it down. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000107007/article/robert-griffin-iii-triggers-washington-redskins-pistol-offense
zCommander
Pistol In Your Face All Day Long Offense. East to West Coast Ballistic Offense. Quick Draw RGIII Offense. Don't Mess With Me Chuck Norris Offense. I guess I could go on and on...
Pskins
East Coast Pistol Whip I like it. Or we could call it the PZR. Pistol - Zone Read.
HeluCopter29
I like the East Coast Pistol Whip. Or how about Ashburn Attack Offense?
The Diesel
The 9ers run a good bit of the pistol too with Kaepernick, who played for Ault at Nevada.

KingGibbs
Love, love LOVE the name "East Coast Pistol Whip." You don't know how bad I want to send a bulk text to my friends and family that are Ravens fans "RGIII just pistol whipped your ass."

quettefan
If Tampa can be credited wit the Tampa-2 defense, call it the DCO (DC Offense)...although other teams may run it (or a variation of it), the Redskins have popularized it. East Coast Pistol Whip would be my second choice but political correctness will never let that stand -- see Washington Bullets, er, I mean Wizards. illone
It's really a Hybrid. Skins are using concepts from many different offenses. The run blocking is traditional Shanahan. Zone blocking staple, with a QB who is running zone fakes and pistol formations behind it. The only logical way to describe it is a Hybrid. It's so many things. The offense is "everything"
