So Mr. "Head Coach" Bang, are you going to hire Mr. TO to be your team's WR coach? Just because he is credited with helping some 7th round draftee or UFA improve make improved play you are going to entrust your entire WR corps to this guy? The guy had physical abilities there is no doubt, but the record is in doubt that he has strong coaching abilities.

TO is probably toast at this point in his career. And now he has things like "Terrell Owens incident earlier this month reportedly a possible suicide attempt" this floating around also - so you have physical problems, relationship problems, and mental problems to deal with if you decide to bring him into your locker room. TO doesn't strike me as coaching material, thus it is unlikely any of your younger players would learn much in the way to technique from him.
It's been awhile, but this isn't the first rumored TO suicide attempt. Hope he gets help if true.

No...

I'm going to offer him a deal for the remainder of the season as a player, allow him to show a guy like Leonard Hankerson how to use his big body in the NFL, and give John Beck a bona-fide threat to throw to, so our offense can better stretch the field and take heat off of the running game.

Unless you think Miles Austin and Stevie Johnson are crappy receivers,I'm not sure where the "doubt' is coming from.

But then again....

as an aside,, things like this always crack me up.. this site (and every other NFL Fan site) goes absolutely bonkers whenever the media downplays their team,, there's a consensus that they don't know what they're talking about... ESPN is known as joke. ... until it comes to this guy. Suddenly everything Ed Werder says is gospel. Regardless of how many other players deny it, or how many "sources close to the team" ar never named.

Note how many still swear he was the divider in Philly. Now, that's fine to believe, but do the revelations about McNabb over the last two years ever play into the scenario? Particularly what was reported this weekend?

Nope.

Observation: If the media agrees with what Joe Fanboy has already decided, they are not to be questioned... seemingly no matter what further evidence comes to light.

If they don't, they're jocksniffing idiots without the first clue.

TO also helped guys like Patrick Crayton improve as well. Brandon Lloyd too. Pretty much everywhere he' s been, he's done everything he could to help out his teammates. I remember a game with the Cowboys and Rams back in '07 where Crayton caught a screen pass, and TO literally escorted him to the endzone like 70 yards. As a teammate of his, I'd be willing to overlook all of the other not so flattering stuff hat comes with a guy like Owens.

When you step back and and take all of that into account, it's no surprise that a guy like him and lazy McNabb could divide a locker room, even if the dude has split personalities. I think he could help Hankerson as well. Looks like it might take him a little longer to develop than I anticipated.

Wait a second, I'm confused...

I thought that suicide attempt came a couple weeks prior to the workout. That's what I thought, then I read the first few sentences of the article, then he goes on to say that the same incident occured back in '06

Fail

My fail. Yep. BEFORE... Dumbass

Sorry about that.
