veteranskinsfan
Will the Redskins take a look at this guy? He played 5 seasons with the Eagles before going to SF. He is 30 years old. The 49ers have had two other players leave the team earlier this year and resign with other teams.
Hitman21ST
He's a Strong Safety, and we already have a pretty damn good one of those. If we pick up a safety, it needs to be a true Free Safety to back up Moore

Conn
What's up with SF? Do players hate it there that much?
terrifNick21
Do you mean they're releasing him? Or is he seriously leaving on his own? lol

veteranskinsfan
I think he is leaving the team. His agent has asked that he be released. He is the third player to leave the 49ers this year. Singletary is losing the team. If they do not win today, things are going to get worse quickly for the Coach. Lewis did not travel with the team to Atlanta.
terrifNick21
Damn. Things are getting ugly in San Fran. Who woulda thunk it?
kevinklein
I hate Singletary. His schtick is old, and he never takes the blame on his shoulders. He always has excuses, or puts it on his players. I know the players are the ones who lost, but its the coaches responsibility to shoulder at least a little of the blame.
Santana_89
Damn. Things are getting ugly in San Fran. Who woulda thunk it? 0-4 ?? the way things are playing out in San Fran is surprising to say the least.
Conn
Unfortunately, its kind of scary that a new, probably more capable coach is going to inherit this team and its top-5 pick, which will then be used to take a franchise QB, the one thing this team REALLY needs to compete. They've got skill and youth all over the roster, especially on Offense. They'd be damn good with a QB to lead them.
