As someone who is actually watching the game for once (set up the Vue to watch game online) it seems Liverpool blew that 3-1 lead by themselves. Can't blame refs. Gritty Bournemouth team struck back. Should have put them away but just mental mistakes by Liverpool kept them in it.

Not blaming the refs... we certainly blew it by ourselves.

Just saying that after it was 3-3 we would get tugged and shoved and nothing, then they'd dive and it was a free kick.

The 3rd goal was certainly not a free kick foul.

that was ugly.  it is telling that the team couldn't pull out of the nose dive at 2-3.

surrendered a two goal lead (twice!) against a mid-table team... we have to be better than that if there's any dream of topping the table.

Huh. Don't have an earthly clue what happened there except Karius had a nightmare and Bournemouth where absolutely fantastic in coming back to win that.

Utterly disappointing day that should NEVER of been but full credit to Bournemouth. Mad, wonderful game of football

Back to hard work the training field this week and regroup for Villa.

Hail.

*Edit* Villa? West Ham rather.

Seriously, social media and the modern day, zero patience football fan are the worst possible combination imaginable. And HIGHLY f-ing embarrassing.

The current meltdown going on from idiotic L'pool has to be seen to be believed. And is up a notch from the last WAY OTT meltdown after Burnley.

Hail.

People in general just need to CHILL.  Football (and American football) is such a fickle game.  Things can change on the smallest knock.

Liverpool today got beat.  That's the reality of it.  Did they deserve it, probably not.  But there were gaps in defense and Bournemouth capitalized.  I don't think it's indicative of the quality pool has.

Not it going to lie, having Liverpool lose was good for me to see, increases the Chelsea lead.  But it's a three team race, a long season to go.

Well, if that doesn't show you that we need Virgil Van Dyk come January I don't know what else will.  Unfortunately Gomez won't be ready.

Need to secure an attacking mid and another center back.  Lucas was pulled out WAY too much yesterday.

As much as its frustrating and hurts as we should never not of won. it was one of them. Most everyone had a nightmare 20 minute spell. It happens. First loss in 16 games. With Lucas being sound at centre half most every game he's played there yesterday aside.

When we blamm West Ham for 6 next Sunday and start another 15 game unbeaten run everyone will be all over us.

It's no coincidence that we've conceded as many without Matip in 5 matches than we have with him in 15 or so.

That second goal where he left Lovren all alone in the box cause he was out on the right wing covering Ibe with Clyne and Hendo out there was ridiculous.  Ridiculous.

He clearly switched off his CB hat and reflexively went into his CDM mindset, which is understandable but it also hurt us badly yesterday.  He did the same thing where he went to sweep out before the 4th goal and was pulled out.

No question Matip is a key player. He's been the best centre half the PL this year IMHO.

But yesterday was just one of them. We'll learn from it to not drop the intensity. As we' learnt quick after Burnley. It wasn't even like Bournemouth battered us or won the game. We just had a nightmare 20 minute spell and lost it. It happens.

Don't get the WAY OTT fume from most Reds. It's disappointing and it hurts but it's like the previous 15 games never happened, and we aren't 4 points off the top the league the start of December and through the semi's the Lge Cup.

It was one of them.

Hail.
