texasthunder
Vjax for 2011 who's whit me Redskins 28- Dallas 24 ESPN:Jay Cutler completed a 82 yard pass play to Vincent Jackson with under a minute to play in the game, to lead the rejuvinated Washington Redskins to their 10th win of the season. The win over the Dallas Cowboys not only assures the Redskins of a playoff berth, but it knocks the Cowboys out of any playoff chances. The Redskins play the New York Giants next week for a shot at the NFC East division crown. Earlier in the year the Redskins throttled the Giants at FedEx field. With Cutler throwing 3 TD's and over 325 yds. His main weapon again was Jackson who had 8 catches for 133 yds.

And IF (which is very slim) the skins did get him, it would be decided by the league if he must remain on the roster exempt list for those 3 games prior to playing for us. And the whole part of playing to accrue his 6th season towards unrestricted free agency is just as much of a mute point as any contract talks are simply because as it stands there is no CBA for next year and many teams, along with ours, have signed a letter supporting to disband the union if an agreement is not reached to allow the players to sue the league. Which makes it even a bigger mute point

rd421
Lets pretend there is a season next year Picking up Jackson and resigning mcnabb allows us to focus on the line in the draft again.....also we can prob get a RB
scott.sharrer
Lets pretend there is a season next year Picking up Jackson and resigning mcnabb allows us to focus on the line in the draft again.....also we can prob get a RB At what cost to get Jackson? SD already made it clear they want a 2nd and 3rd round for him.....and not in the 2012 draft, in the 2011 draft. There is no feasible way we can give them what they want for him. AND after the season is over, there will not be any FA's until after a new agreement is signed
