drtdrums Posted July 29, 2010 Share Posted July 29, 2010 Interesting. I hadn't heard this track yet. I'm a fan from the first album, and this doesn't disappoint. They've been solid for a while, with a few tracks here and there that are absolutely amazing. If I had to look for something negative, I would have to say when they go into cut time. Nothing better than Ten Thousand Fists to get you fired up while lifting weights. The main reason for this, is I think they have gravitated musically away from the rap/metal fad, and now they are just a very solid, and well produced "metal" band. I listened to the songs posted earlier in the thread and it all sounds the same as The Sickness to me. I can definitely listen to Disturbed, but I won't be running to the store for this release. Commander PK Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 Just picked the album up this morning, along with Iron Maiden's "The Final Frontier" I've only made it through the first 5 tracks of the new Disturbed, and it seems this is another great release from the band. Their last few albums feel like the same song over and over. I even walked out of their Music as a Weapon Tour during their set (I was dead center on the gate in the pit).
