Metalhead
Harper in right. So now the guessing game of how fast he goes through the minors. What sucks is he won't get signed until midnight on the deadline like Stras.

BadKarma
Bryce Harper, Whereverthehellhewantstoplay They should get him signed and bring him up for tomorrows game, clearly already a better option for the Nats in RF than Harris / Bernadina.

Actually with Pudge hurt right now he is probably our best catcher too haha.

Bubble Screen
Harper is an unbelievable talent -- he's got all the tools to be GREAT. There is one problem: his attitude: he's really hot-headed, likes to throw his bat, etc. He's unbelievably ****y -- some don't like that in the game of baseball. Others think that he may be peaking already, and his limited upside from where he is right now.Even with the negatives, the Nats seem to have a good 1-2 combo with Strasburg and Harper. You would be ****y too if you seen how far he hit a ball as a freshman in hs! Anyone see that clip on ESPN tonite? He also hit the furthest HR ever at Tropicana Field. Yeah, he used a metal bat. So what. He hit the back wall of the building. It would have went further if not for the wall.
Bubble Screen
Yeah, the best news for Nats fans is that they plan on playing him in the OF. He has too much potential as a hitter to risk putting him behind the plate. Not to mention it would take longer for him to get to the majors if they play him at catcher, because of the learning curve. And yeah, Selig should not be announcing these picks. Dude is such a damn dork its not even funny. And boring as hell.

Warhead36
We need RF help bad but a 40 homer C would have been amazing. Still, a great talent either way. The future is bright for the Natties!
G.A.C.O.L.B.
Harper in right. So now the guessing game of how fast he goes through the minors. What sucks is he won't get signed until midnight on the deadline like Stras. There's a thought being bounced around that Harper is such a hardcore baseball player (as he says, it's been his life since 7) that he'll sign fairly quickly so he can hurry up and start playing in the minors. That he doesn't want to miss any baseball. Nice thought but we shall see.
