Art
Synapsis must be shorting out. I've known we're playing the Ravens this week for some time. But, not until I was watching SportsNite on Comcast this morning -- gotta love Tivo -- was it that I realized this week's Redskin game is on television for those of us who are geographically challenged. If you get Comcast, you get the game. And there is joy.
JeffSchmeff
I will be watching it on Comcast, if only because I won't have to sit through the terrible camerawork and commentary of NBC 4. Sonny is the only bright spot in that broadcast, and I absolutely CAN'T STAND Jeff Bostic.

I was watching the replay of the game last night and the comcast taping was so dark. The Raven's unis looked black
@DCGoldPants
How much do the starters play next week? How good is the Baltimore running game?

Art
The third preseason game is often considered the most real game-like. The starters often play the majority of the game. Often into the second half or even three quarters depending on the team.
RTerps2002
Ramsey needs to play until he proves he can

IMO, all of the commentators that the Redskins network has sucks.
Kilmer17
Yeah Ramsey stunk it up Saturday with only 150 yards in 1 half.

TD_washingtonredskins
Actually the Ravens will be a good test for us. They like to run J. Lewis between the tackles and that's where we're weak right now. Could be pretty telling. This one is the dress-rehersal for the season.
nybucks
I have comcast on my direct tv and in the past they have blacked out the broadcast right before gametime. Does anyone know if and why they do this? I hope I get to see it.

Art
I do have a concern that it'll be blacked out because it's supposed to be a local broadcast only according to the NFL in the preseason. I would be very sad if that's the case
TD_washingtonredskins
I used to always watch on mute and listen to WJFK. I can't now that I have DirecTV. My delay is too great. I hear the play a few seconds before it's happening on TV....it does work with cable though.
NavyDave
Yeah I do that too. And I think the comcast feed for us in the DC area is gonna be blacked out except for those in the B more area so NBC 4 will keep it viewers. Otherwise I'll record comcast and channel four
skinsfanbu
I watch at a sportsbar that still has old time analog satelites, it gets WRC 4 broadcasts pretty well. Art, does this mean the WRC is not broadcasting the game? Many people are dependent on this feed...besides listening to Sonny during the wild feed (commercial breaks) is a hoot. NavyDave
NBC 4 will air the skins games in DC which means there is a chance that comcast may be blacked out in the DC area. B'more doesnt carry DC's NBC 4 so Comcast will air it over there
jtredskin
I am in SC but Directv 'thinks' I am still in Baltimore. So the game better not be blacked out as it will be the only preseason game I get. By the way, ravens suck!
BD
Sonny is actually the best of a very lousy lot. Gotta love how they always mispronounce the names, forget when players were here, screw up news from around the league... when they had that endless back and forth about Vick during the Pats game ("Tibia." "Tibula?" "Fibia." "Tibia and Fibula." "Fibia?") I just bust out laughing. BD
Tom [Giants fan]
I know the Giants starters with the exception of Tiki Barber will be playing 3 full quarters. That is typical for the third preseason game. After this week, it is wait until the season starts because you probably won't even get a quarter out of the starters in the final preseason game, which is the way it should be. bleedblue
Even though it is a redskins game I would still like to see it. Too bad I don't get comcast. This Sucks. I guess I will have to listen to it on NFL.com
Trevor
Hate to tell you Art but every preseason game on Comcast so far has been blacked out. Matter of fact every non-local game on directv has been blacked out so far. Us geo challenged are screwed this week.
Skeletor The Invincible
Yeah I don't believe those of you who are geo-challenged will be allowed to view the game. They usually have preseason games blacked out.
