suze109
UnWise Mike on 106.7 (The Fan) just said Buges was gonna try and call in to the show after the presser. Buges also said he had just gotten off the phone with "Gibbsy". Hahaha, he calls him "Gibbsy"???

TD_washingtonredskins
This, to me, is the true end of the Gibbs II era. I will miss Buges (and all those guys) but it's time to turn over a new leaf and stop looking to our past to prop us up. Thanks to Joe Bugel for all that he did during Gibbs I, Gibbs II, the Zorn era. He's a true Redskin and deserves a place in the Ring of Fame. Destructis
When you look up legend in the dictionary, it should have his picture next to the word. One of my favorite coaches of all time. I enjoyed reading stories about his personality and the way he was loved by his players. He will always be a Redskin.
TheLongshot
Shanny's first statement was that he wanted to keep Buges on the staff, but Buges wanted to retire. Can't say I disagree with either man.

Santana_89
Classy guy. He said Gibbs and him have one regret, not bringing Dan Snyder a trophy. It certainly wasn't for a lack of trying of Gibbs' and Buges 'part. I know that NO ONE else could have coached up the 2009 O-line the way he did.:cry:

goflyhelo
I am so honored that I watched his last game in San Diego. I had a great view of him and the Skins sidelines and I tell you, he coached just like he did in the early 80's. He never gave up.
