Nice video of how Shanny coached SB 29/ SB 32

Yes, I know, Steve Young/John Elway, we don't have a QB like that.

But I wanted to know how a Mike Shanahan coaches in situations like these. When he finds a QB he likes, and is in sync with them, he is so aggressive and confident its unreal.

We need that on our team.

that broncos video always gets me a little choked up ... what a great game that was, i still remember thinking it was the greatest SB I had ever seen ... two HOF QB's battling it out for the Lombardi, doesn't get any better!

I don't know why but I have a feeling Mike Shanahan is more excited on starting with the Redskins than we he started with the Broncos. The reason I say this is the fact he had the time away from football to think about everything, reflect on life and think on what he wants more than anything... and that is getting back to coach.

HTTR! :point2sky

Awesome videos, especially the second one with the Broncos. I got giddy thinking to myself, man that's OUR coach now. I LOVE how confident that team is that they WILL score and their plays WILL work. Part of our problem has been the fact that we don't trust our playcalling and then when the plays are called, we don't trust our players to execute them perfectly. Denver was all long, methodical drives that ended with scores, in which the whole team was working as a well oiled machine.

Wow, I respect Steve Young regretting the "monkey on his back" thing. Sure, I never held it against him too much but he recognized what it seemed to say about how he viewed his career and that he realizes it was an opportunity and not a burden says a lot about him as a man.

Seriously though, what has Mike Shanahan won without John Elway?

Man that was fast.

If you have a question about his record, why don't you take a look at it:

DEN 1995 8 8 0 .500

DEN 1996 13 3 0 .813

DEN 1997 12 4 0 .750

DEN 1998 14 2 0 .875

DEN 1999 6 10 0 .375

DEN 2000 11 5 0 .688

DEN 2001 8 8 0 .500

DEN 2002 9 7 0 .563

DEN 2003 10 6 0 .625

DEN 2004 10 6 0 .625

DEN 2005 13 3 0 .813

DEN 2006 9 7 0 .563

DEN 2007 7 9 0 .438

DEN 2008 8 8 0 .500

Funny, i don't see too many losing seasons there... Oh, and none of them consecutive

Steve A****er is one of my all time favorite players.

Of course, so is Reggie and Niel, who were also in that game. It was a great one.

Didn't really talk about Shanny too much though, except the play Elway hated and how Shanny was wrong, when he called it and it didn't work. lol.

What has Elway won without Shanny?

:D

Just about the same that Belichick won without Brady, Dungy without Payton and Holmgren without Favre.

Sarcasm gents, sarcasm.

Sarcasm gents, sarcasm.
especially when no :silly: is used.

Well I figured it would connect when you consider it shows him winning a superbowl not only with Elway, but with Young as OC in San Fran.

You guys are just too easy.

How about that? http://extremeskins.com/showpost.php?p=7198724&postcount=11

duhhh, a super bowl with Steve Young, idiot.

Calm down Cowboy. Watch your mouth, and read the entire thread.

My bad, Hershey Pork. Sometimes you just can't turn down an opportunity to argue with someone online. It's what the internet was invented for!

Love the Rogue Squirrel shirts, btw. You guys should do more twitter contests.
