armyofme
I would draft him with our No. 4 pick. And then use our 2nd round for a OL.
skinsfan190
Yeah he great. Not worth the 4th pick tho. He will prob be a top 15 pick next year. I think VT's Ryan Williams is better tho. He is a BEAST!!!
Chicken Fried
If he were coming out this year, he wouldn't be available at #4. One of the top 3 teams would take him, in my opinion. I think Ryan Williams is comparable. I wouldn't say one is better. I'd love either one. I want Toby Gerhart BADLY in this draft, though. Too much raw power. Darth Tater
Why? Running back is a waste if you don't have an offensive line, heck, he'd probaby just do a little better than what we've got.
ArmchairRedskin
That dude will have a short NFL career. Too physical to hold up for long.
BryenJ1982
I hardly ever post on this board, couldn't pass this one up though. Mark Ingram is a great combination of speed, power, and incredible balance. I've never seen a college back break tackles and continue on like he can (I'm 27). Kinda glad he's not coming out this year. Maybe we can make a play for him in 2011.

Uh, AP hasn't been in the league very long and he doesn't run through tackles like Ingram. He's physical, but not that physical.

LeoDC
I like him, But 4 is a little high, Unless you breaking records or bring something new to the position you not top 5, only RB's last couple years worth getting picked top 5 were Bush and McFadden even if they haven't panned out completely

mistertim
Uh, AP hasn't been in the league very long and he doesn't run through tackles like Ingram. He's physical, but not that physical. AP is definitely a very physical runner, but I think the thing that makes him so dangerous is how amazing his vision is and his cutting ability even when there is very little space to do so. Ingram is a great RB but I'm not sure he is as good as AP was.

Are you crazy  I think u need to talk to the Browns and the Steelers about how physical he is. Those stiff arms are legendary
michiskin
I wish that Jake Long, Joe Thomas, Ryan Clady and Mike Oher could reenter the draft this year. Of course wishing doesn't make it so... so it's kind of pointless to make threads about wishes. P.S. I wish I could hit the Powerball.
ArmchairRedskin
Are you crazy :doh:I think u need to talk to the Browns and the Steelers about how physical he is. Those stiff arms are legendary I didn't say AP wasn't physical. I said he was, just not to the extent that Ingram is. Ingram bulls through tackles which is different from putting a stiff arm on somebody.
ArmchairRedskin
Why are you guys even comparing AP to Ingram. I said Ingram's career would be short and Peterson's only been in the league 3 years. Hardly the right candidate to use as an example of a physical runner who had a long career.
SonnyJ
I'll tell you the Alabama player that has caught my eye - the guy named M. Johnson who plays LG. Dude looks really good. He'll pancake a Texas defender on one play, than on the next, flow straight from a quick double-team right to the second level where he takes out another defender. Keep an eye on him. I don't know his first name and am generally unfamiliar with Alabama, but this guy looks pretty good. And, oh yeah, the Alabama QB is terrible. He may be undefeated since middle school, but it's clear Alabama doesn't rely on him at all. And for good reason .
MumboSauce
The way the league is now I don't think I'd take a RB in the top 10. 10-20 maybe.
