cyfar
And a little light of color too. Yeah, I initially thought that was Jason Taylor when I saw the pic.
KDawg
how many reps does orakpo get at 225? 31 reps at 263 pounds. He's a monster. Granted, there's much more to strength than a bench press number... But a 94 strength for a guy who may not even be able to bench much more than his bodyweight is a bit off

ljs
Yea I was wondering that as well, some draft picks already have their numbers on Wikipedia, while others aren't listed yet. I know, for instance, that Stafford will be #9 for Detroit because #7 was already retired. Not sure how credible Wiki is on BO though. #98 and #90 would both be cool numbers for him IMO per redskins blog First-round draft choice Brian Orakpo will be addressing the media at 11:00 this morning, and despite what you see at Redskins.com, he will not be sporting number 1 there. My understanding is that there was some sort of negotiation with second-year defensive end Rob Jackson, but whatever it took, it looks like the fans at FedExField on Saturday got the numbering right on their homemade version. http://blog.redskins.com/
Jofizz
I didn't know we drafted LeBron James.
SMU Redskin
per redskins blog http://blog.redskins.com/ That's awesome- I might have to buy that jersey. I went ahead and edited his Wikipedia entry
wsniper1
I like how Maybin ran a 4.89 40yd and is faster than Orakpo who ran a 4.
Redskins Reparations
I didn't know we drafted LeBron James. Funny that you mention this...I had a dream last night that the FO drafted King James with our 7th round draft pick.
Fede
Madden rescaled their numbering system in Madden 2010, making the average a 70, instead of an 80 which it has been for awhile now. I think they wanted to preserve the 80s for good starters, and the 90s for elite players.
Ajamrani
I love how Sanchez is right handed, lol and Moreno is #24, easy things to fix. LOL. Sanchez IS RIGHT HANDED!
Santana_Fan
They made Orakpo look a little small eh? Once I get Madden, I'ma update that. His arms look like Fred Smoot's.
dfos81
Just make him his natural height and weight, bulk up his upper body, arms, etc. Make him 3 shades darker, and he's fixed. Now hopefully Madden does this w/o us having to edit.
Sm00tSmack
Does anyone know for certain what jersey number is he going to wear for us? I think Rob Jackson already has #98According to Wikipedia, he's going to be #90 (Just like Julius Peppers and Mario Williams) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Orakpo He better be 98!!!! 98 and 99 = Perfect bookends! smith2nr
if you look on the left theres a link that takes you to the ratings for the 10 ten at each position...it also shows who improved the most and who got worse from last years game...D Hall is now rated a
SMU Redskin
He better be 98!!!! 98 and 99 = Perfect bookends! If you check out the Redskins official site, Rob Jackson has been switched to #91. So I guess Orakpo gets #98: http://www.redskins.com/team/

Either way, they must have really recalibrated the ratings system. Also, Devin Thomas fell from a 81 to a 63. Yikes. Good to see Haynesworth is a 99 though! http://www.gamespot.com/sports/blogs/sports-blog/909097139/26859233/madden-nfl-10-two-cover-stars-and-top-ten-position-ratings.html
NoVaSkins21
It may be just me and I don't want to jinx anything at all, but Orakpo's pic kind of reminded me of Jason Taylor.
Disco Dave
Not sure if I should post this here but whatever here it is.One thing to note for ratings changes from previous years is that they have increased the range on all stats to give more variety, you can look that up on your own but speed as well as other stats will scale better and lower then in past maddens for example most Wrs in last years madden where between 86-99, they changed the way speed works and it can scale as much at 70-99. Multiple changes have been made across the board. That said here are at least current Madden rookie ratings released after the players were drafted, Pics of them and stats in the team jerseys they were drafted by. http://www.gamespot.com/sports/blogs/sports-blog/909097139/26860345/madden-nfl-10-rookie-ratings-and-screens.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=picks&tag=picks;title;3 Since your new to Extremeskins.com you probably didn't know that we have our own forum for fantasy football and Madden. Travdaskin
Why does Orakpo's shoulder pads look so big, that game's graphics look like garb, and they don't even edit their faces, they give them generic faces, COME ON, f that game...
CRobi21
Why are some of those shoulder pads so damn wide. I mean, who honestly has pads in the NFL that look like that?
Stophovr6
Why are some of those shoulder pads so damn wide.I mean, who honestly has pads in the NFL that look like that? No one, and it seems like linemen are wearing smaller and smaller pads to keep down on weight and try and get some extra mobility.

DHall is a 68, Smoot is a 76. Orakpo as an 82 is pretty damn good then
