Springfield
I swear that there was a thread around here that was strictly about good cover songs. I searched high and low and couldn't find it. If you can, slap me on the face and we'll call it even. Anyhow, I'm interested in finding some good cover songs. I'm in a cover song kind of mood right now. Here are two by Jose Faliciano to kick things off. Light My Fire: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qyEPQiiw8QI California Dreamin:

That "Hey Ya" cover was good, I don't think it was better than the original though.

Springfield
A cover of Imagine by the Beatles. This version is done by A Perfect Circle. I just discovered it, it's not a super good song. It's not as good as the original. The video, along with the song is rather moving though.

Springfield
Two obvious additions... The Man Who Sold the World - Nirvana http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=209ArurxVG4 All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQH8X4jkSxo Both songs are infinitely better than the originals.
