This is just freaking sick.

Australian teenagers involved in a fatal car crash sat down and ordered takeout food as rescuers fought to save an 82-year-old man and his 72-year-old partner, News.com.au reported.

The cars collided at a Gold Coast roundabout in Miami. The teenagers were riding in an unregistered Suburu WRX with an unlicensed driver.

Residents near the roundabout were outraged when they came to the aid of the elderly couple and saw the teenagers standing motionless on the sidewalk. They said none of the teens attempted to help.

"They just stood there, and then they sat down and then someone dropped Maccas off to them," a witness told the Gold Coast Bulletin.

There's more to this than what was reported.

After the collision, the vehicle the elderly couple were travelling in rolled onto it's side, with the male driver trapped underneath.

Whilst the residents were trying to help the elderly couple, these kids were laughing and joking about what was going on.

Sick ****s, each and every one of them.

That is correct CCS, and we also have anti-hoon laws in place.

If ANYONE is caught 'hooning', their vehicle is impounded for up to 24 hours for the first offence, up to 72 hours for a second, and if stupid enough to get caught a third time, the vehicle is confiscated and sold, with the proceeds going to a road trauma based charity.

There are supposed to be certain licensing restrictions in place as well. It is supposedly illegal for a probationary license holder to drive a turbo-charged / high powered vehicle, but very little gets done to prevent this from occurring. The usual outcome is that the driver of said vehicle is involved in an accident, which often results in someone being killed. I have absolutely no sympathy if the person(s) killed are in the offending vehicle.

+1...makes me wonder if i was meant for this generation sometimes

We all think that sometimes about our own generations. Idiots and crazies make news. There are no more pieces of **** in your generation than there are in mine or anyone else's.

I do question how human beings can do what they did. They definitely have some kind of mental abnormality. I've known some real ****ty people in my lifetime, but even they would've helped out. I don't know what kind of "Good Samaritan" laws they have in Australia, but if they have them, these idiots should be charged.

Here's the latest:

Macca's crash driver escapes custody

AN accused teenage hoon who allegedly snacked on McDonald's with his mates at a fatal crash scene has escaped police custody and is on the run.

Madison Jo Randell, 18, faced court on Tuesday charged with a string of driving offences relating to last Saturday's accident which claimed the life of Gold Coast man Mario Martorano, 82, and critically injured his wife Edith, 72.

It's been alleged those in the car driven by Randell not only failed to help but also sat around eating McDonald's.

Police have revealed Randell fled police last night after they took him to hospital complaining of an injury to his thumb and wrist.

Police said the teen was taken from the Southport Watchhouse to the Gold Coast Hospital for treatment to "a pre-existing hand fracture", but as was leaving the hospital, it is believed he pushed over one of the officers who was escorting him, before escaping on foot along Nerang St.

Police searched for Randell but were unable to find him.

Randell is said to be 175cm tall, of a proportionate build, with brown eyes and short dark hair that spikes in the middle.

He was barefoot wearing white board shorts and a black t-shirt with the word "famous" written on the front.

Earlier this week, the accused teenager's lawyer said he was "not a callous boy".

This is why he should never have been allowed bail.

This driver is at it again.

Macca's teen in armed raids

POLICE say a teenager who escaped from custody after he was charged over a deadly car crash on the Gold Coast has now taken part in two violent armed robberies.

Madison Jo Randell escaped from custody on Thursday as he was being escorted back to prison from a hospital visit.

He was charged over a car crash in which an 82-year-old man was killed. It's alleged he sat and ate a McDonald's take-out while the elderly man died in the wreckage.

Police today alleged the 18-year-old was involved in two robberies on the Gold Coast the next day.

well at least now he should hopefully spend a few years behind bars. Unbelievable he got a bond in the first place. The way I understand it he was not out on bond when he went to the hospital so they must have revoked the bond then when he saw a chance, he ran. This kid's f***ing crazy!

Teen fugitive caught, arrested

A TEENAGE fugitive who escaped police custody and spent four days on the run was yesterday caught hiding under his mother's house at Ashmore.

Madison Jo Randell, 18, and alleged accomplice Thomas Innes Robertson, 19, pulled faces and smiled as they were taken away in handcuffs.

Police had been hunting Randell since Thursday night when he fled from officers after being charged over a car crash that killed an elderly man and injured his wife.

Yesterday, Randell was charged with offences allegedly committed while on the run.

In addition to his original charges, including dangerous driving causing death and grievous bodily harm, he now faces counts of escaping from lawful custody, two charges of serious assault, two charges of robbery while armed and one charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Going back to when he first made headlines:

Randell made headlines around Australia when he was involved in a crash that killed Mario Martorano, 82, on November 22.

It is alleged Randell and those travelling with him in his unregistered Subaru WRX did not help the elderly driver or his badly injured wife and called for friends to deliver McDonald's fast food as the teens sat on the roadside.

Robertson was one of those questioned by police at the scene of the fatal car crash.

Where this Robertson tosser comes into it:

Police allege Randell and Robertson held up a convenience store on Christine Avenue at Robina and a service station on Gemvale Road at Mudgeeraba on Saturday night.

Robertson was charged with two charges of robbery while armed and one charge of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

If I remember, I'll add to this thread once the court has dealt with them.

Mr Martorano's wife, Enid, remained in a stable condition at the Gold Coast Hospital last night.

I was about to say I didn't think this kid was smart enough to escape custody for long, but then I kept reading and saw that he's already been caught.

At his mom's house.

Such a shame this kid's utter stupidity cost someone his life.
