They are rich after all, they can already buy whatever. Handing them a $100,000 extra will seem nice to them, but it won't alter their spending habits that much. And if it is not spent, it is saved, and therefore it does not "trickle down." So instead, give more in tax cuts to the middle 95% of Americans. You would be surprised by just how much more of that money ends up purchasing Christmas presents for the family, buying new cars, simply purchases made possible by that tax cut. When that money is spent, retailers gain, auto manufacturers gain, the economy picks up. Jobs are created. Simply economics. I'm sorry if I laid out exactly what Obama's economic plan is and it sounded pretty reasonable, but you could at least entertain me with a response to anything I just said.
