cphil006
I had no idea. I wish him and his family the best with their new addition.
IbleedBnG83
I saw the interview. Very sad to hear some of the things mentioned. I'm glad he was able to have another kid. He definately cleared up some things with the interview that has not only myself, but many of us looking at him in a different light. I'm glad he has a renewed sense of football in terms of appreciation for the game.
Capt Rich Fla
If he can't feel the love after he scores a TD and the place goes nuts for him, I don't know what he's taking out of context. "He's very fragile"- the dude

"He's very fragile"- the dude There's a certain aspect of your post that I can understand, but if either you or I scored a TD for our beloved 'Skins don't you think the place would go just as nuts? I'm not in tune to certain perceptions, whether from a majority (or loud minority) of fans or the media in regards to specific players (I tend to lean towards the 'glass is half full' mentality even when reality begs to differ), but I saw the interview and can surely understand and empathize with Portis's statements. I don't begrudge these guys because their path has led them to a particular lifestyle. People's people.
Lombardi's_kid_brother
Clinton and Lavar actually seem to have a lot in common. I think both are far far far more sensitive than the average football player. And I think they both have a hard time reconciling that with the game they play. You can tell that when both feel wounded by criticism, they are really really wonded by it. And when they experience joy from the game, they really really experience it. So, once or twice a year, you are going to get one of these emotional outpourings from CP.
Lombardi's_kid_brother
Portis = Redskin Through and Through. I still don't know what that means by the way. If Denver had never traded him, would he be a Bronco through and through now?

Jahbird
CP is the man and has been so ever since he stepped off Redskins 1. He is one of those types of players who I will root for no matter where he ends up. (unless that happens to be in dallas of course). Sounds like he is Tony Soprano-ing it and playing the "Sad Clown". You have to love the way he plays on sunday and my heart goes out to him and his family. My cousin lost an unborn baby and so did my aunt, people mourn these losses just as hard as a living family member. They greive what could have been, and what could have been for an infant is undefineable. Imagine losing what could have been, instead of what was. The possibilities are infinite and the loss is crushing. Somebody should let clinton know that we have his back and that Czabe is bitter, bmitch is bitter, and that I heard they share a Cialis perscription and a blowup doll.
