Dan T.
:laugh:Like Colbert's painting. Yeah. Or sitting in a barber's chair. BTW, I kind of like the Iowa Barnstormers' helmets, in a cheesy kind of way, how they look like they have aviator goggles on.
PiLfan
Didn't know this, but apparently the Bucs original pirate logo was a virtual mirror image of a logo used by a little-known DIV III school called Beloit College: http://www.beloit.edu/~admiss/admitted/nfl.htm This apparently was the inspriation behind Tampa Bay's change in helmet/uniform in the mid-90s. DGreenistheBest
I think this list is supposed to be sort of tongue-in-cheek. I mean, how else can you justify putting the most homosexually liberated helmet in football history at number 2?
mjah
If the Dolphin on the helmet wore the helmet with the actual logo, it would BLOW PEOPLE'S MINDS. Because the helmet on the logo would have to have the helmet with the logo. And that helmet would have to have the logo. And that helmet would have to have the logo. And THAT helmet would have to have the logo. And so on. You would end up with infinity Dolphins wearing infinity helmets. Exactly. And the Dolphins' helmet should blow people's minds. After all, Miami is the blow capital of the US. Better yet: Maybe a dolphin shouldn't be wearing a helmet at all.
zoony
okay... Best - Chicago Bears Worst - Patriots or Titans. Both look like Arena League garbage. And mjah... I agree with you r.e. the Dolphins, but in a way, they're so bad that they have character. Kind of like the Chicago Cubs. So I think they're actually one of the best. REDSKINZ-RIDEORDIE
The Skins helmet with the spear is the greatest helmet in NFL history. And I'm not saying this because I'm a Skins fan either. MAJOR COSIGN, that helmet is better then at LEAST 3 of the helmets on that list....... tone_dubbz
I don't know how this one didn't make into the list. Total horse $#!+ This one should get an honorable mention:applause:
RedskinsNation
Oilers helmet may be my # 1 favorite of all time. Steelers is pretty classic as well. I wasnt a fan of the spear-Redskins helmet (70th anniv)...too FSU-ish.

Reic
Coolest helmets out there today are the falcons and the rams. The Jags/Panthers are sharp too.
