MassSkinsFan
There were six NFL players with my last name, but only one in the modern era, and none with the Skins. At least none of them were with our NFCE rivals! My first name though is Darrell. I think - correct me if I'm wrong - there might have been a Skin with that name... REDSKINZ-RIDEORDIE
Nope, there is only one player (that I know of) that plays (played) in the NFL and that Brandon Whiting (Eagles), and his lastname is spelled the way mines is. There are more players who hopefully will make the name Vernon more popular, Vernon Davis and Vernon Ghouston.
Audible_Red40
Nope never. Only 3 guys in NFL history have had my last name. (Or do I have their last name?) None the less, 2 of them played in 1 game and the third guy played 8 years.
mjdowns
Not to my knowledge, but unfortunately I have the exactly same name as a previous Dallas player, "Michael Downs".
WolfMan
Would appear to have been 8 NFL players with my last name... with one of them having been a Redskin in 1985 (Strong Safety) and then he moved on to Detroit... My grandfather was a pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles way back in the day...
redskinpigskin
Mike Connell was a punter for the Redskins, which was the closest, I think.
