The team claims all their team issued jerseys are "gw" or game worn. But it's not necessarily so. That's probably a team issued jersey, but not customized and not worn. If you look in the thread linked above, you can see that Lavar liked his jerseys shortened. It appears this one is not, since you're showing us the jock tag. Also, how many burgundy games did we play in 2005? I'm not sure we played any. We even wore white @ Dallas in 2005, which is unusual.

Looking back on the schedule, the only game that we played in which we wore burgundy was the infamous "2 point conversion" game in Tampa. I would agree that it most likely is TI. The sleeves are another indication of it being TI.

The sleeves on the one from the redskins store don't match what LaVar looks to be wearing (IMO). From my POV, it looks to be more open and less like what he would have worn, and a different cut, too. Maybe I'm just seing things...:insane:

But I see what you're saying. The 2005 sleeve cuffs are designed to be away from the body of the jersey, and the 2003 sleeve cuffs are close to the body.

But psu's jersey appears to me to be like it should be - away from the body.

The fonts on the sleeves are different too. The bold fonts are applied to the longer sleeves. The skinny unbold font, which is smaller, is applied to the short sleeves, presumably because the bold font won't fit as well.

There's only one Redskins jersey made in America. A that's a team-issued Game Jersey.

On that note does it matter? I think I'd rather spend $30 on a fake, than $130 for a Premier Jersey. What do you all think? Any experience buying fakes? Ever been to the above website?

Those are definitely fake.

But I have no problems with folks that buy fakes, I have a fake, authentic, and game used...I wear the fake to the games.

Yeah I have no problems with fakes. When you think about it, replicas aren't "authentic" either. So would you rather spend $80 on a replica that the numbers will fade off it in a few years or a "fake" for $30-$60 that doesn't look that bad?

I just hate the iron press sticker type sleeves, always.

There used to be a site, now not running, that had the the nice stitched cloring on the sleeves, like ST in your sig. I got 3 of those (Cooley, Landry & Portis) a couple years back, love em.

Says the IP is from Utah, and that 99.8% of the users are from China.

I figured this was a fake n'all, but just seeing if anyone has bought from them...They have a sweet looking Sonny jersey for only $26, but shipping is $20...Still, that fake looks better than the Premier or Replicas I've seen. Before I buy, I just didn't want to waste $50 bucks and never get my jersey.

That second reference is probably the worst jersey site I've ever seen.

Counterfeit Chinese or other foreign jersey sites are great if you like breaking the law, and putting yourself at risk with the feds. Posting these links on ES, however, is contrary to what's allowed on this board (see the rules) and is in risk of a ban.
