ratbert_rizzo
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=ap-nfldefensiverookie&prov=ap&type=lgns Pretty easy, only Jon Beason of Carolina got any other first place votes.

DCranon21
No surprise there. He dominated that LB'er position as a rookie.
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
that guy is a friggin machine. his numbers look more fake than video game stats. he averaged 8 SOLO tackles per game. thats ungodly. coupled with his 4 sacks, 5 pass deflections, 2 forced fumbles, and numerous double digit tackle games, he should probably win defensive MVP of the year as well. theres nobody that came within 30 tackles of his performance. pjfootballer
Good, maybe Landry will take it out on the Seattle WR's this week. Really though, no suprise, Willis was a machine this year.
dfbovey
Congrats to Willis, great season for sure! It's difficult for safeties to win awards unless they are like Ed Reed and get 9 INTs in a season. Laron had a very good season though.
McMetal
If these voters are so keen and unanimous in their recognition of talent, clearly they have no part in the HOF voting. Would have liked to see Laron get a vote or two...
Shilsu
If these voters are so keen and unanimous in their recognition of talent, clearly they have no part in the HOF voting. Would have liked to see Laron get a vote or two... Seriously. Willis is a nobody (no name recognition), got minimal recognition through the media, and plays for a crappy team. And the voters correctly voted him as DROY. So why can't they vote the HOF correctly?
