Eve Injury Report (Moss, Smoot in doubt)

On one hand it would be a plus if we could get Marcus back this week but it would obviously hurt with Moss and Smoot out. What else is new?

Redskin WR Santana Moss (heel) missed practice again Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game, but neither Moss nor coach Joe Gibbs sounded optimistic that he will be able to play, the Washington Post reports. WR Antwaan Randle El (hamstring) also missed practice Friday for the second straight game, but he is listed as probable. Backup James Thrash would likely start if either one of them can't play.

REDSKINS: DT Cornelius Griffin (back) is probable for Sunday’s game. LB Marcus Washington(hamstring) has not practiced this week but the team believes he will be able to play on Sunday. CB Fred Smoot(hamstring) has also missed practice all week and could be replaced by backup Davis Macklin.

EAGLES: CB Lito Sheppard (knee) practiced fully again on Friday and is expected to start on Sunday. SS Sean Considine (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve, so Quintin Mikell will start in his place.

I still can't believe this team is prepared to go forward with Leigh Torrence and John Eubanks ahead of David Macklin.

No one has explained how Torrence, who blew containment on the 86 yard TD return by Leon Washington last week and was also flagged for being offsides on a kickoff, has risen that fast in the eyes of the coaches.

Okay, he started a number of games in one season stretch in Atlanta a couple of years ago.

A time when Atlanta's defense was one of the worst in the NFC.

PLEASE deactivate Moss and Washington. Allow them to GET HEALTHY.

START McCardell at wide receiver opposite ARE and work Reche Caldwell into the mix as the #3 receiver in the slot.

Godfrey is a solid player at strongside linebacker and we will be fine there with him in the game.

We can use Chris Wilson to make up for the pressure MW would have gotten on third downs.

Thats the problem with this team. Any sign of a little tightness and the P***** sit out of practice all week. Then they play on staurday and get hurt because they aint in game shape. They also play and practice to NOT get hurt. When you are trying not to do something that is when it happens. I know all teams have injuries but I really have never seen a team with more injuries then the skins the the past 4 years. What happened to to the old days when men suited up to play on saturday with or without injuries. Im sure it has alot to do with tjhe age of this team put damn these guys are f'ing wussies!
