CallMeGreen
Cleaning up the brown dead leaves in the rain is no fun, but we really need the rain!P.S. Is the Wash, DC area gonna get some colorful leaves? I've seen a few red leaves here n there. Thanks. Here's what they look like.
CallMeGreen
Folks, this week will give us more rain than what we hav had the past few months combined.1st event--Tomorrow-Wed morning. We could get a good half inch of rain. 2nd event--Starts during the weekeend(Friday?) and could give us a long duration rain event that could add up to 2-4 inches before all is said and done. Also much cooler next week. enjoy! Sue Palka said a couple of days ago we'd need 15-18 inches of rain by the end of the year to be fully out of our current drought. But this would be a nice start! RonJeremy
all over the place? Im just trying to get the timing down for you. Also much cooler next week. enjoy! the models are now starting to lineup in my camp. The GFS has jumped on board with theEuropean modeltomorrows event will not be impressive...but more of an appetizer to the soaker coming for later this week. Right now Thursday and Friday look like a washout and possibly Saturday. Amounts could be in the 2-3 inch range which would be huge to ending the drought. We could be seeing our first true winter blast of cold air in the first week of November The Event is still on track but I am still working out the timing issues. It appears now that it could start on Friday and the bulk of the rain falls over the weekend. This has potential to be a massive rainstorm but the washout appears to be now on Saturday/Sunday. More later today.Watch out for some Arctic Air first week of November So, what you are saying it could rain either on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Thanks for the accurate prediction. I rest my case your honor. Would you like to handle all bets?I'm kinda bad with $$$. No problem. But we are going to have to handicap this a bit...I have a feeling all the money will be going JP's way.

There are 2 rain events for this week the one today/tonight and one for the weekend. The one for the weekend could be doozy. I havent changed anything except for the timing of the weekend event. nice try.

E-Dog Night
I know. I am really pissed off at God. I work at a golf course, and one of the things I always look forward to is a nice, good, soaking rain every once in a while. It's like having a day off, and it's good for the course. But no. It's been nothing but hot, dry and sunny all summer long. I'm working my 2nd twelve hour day in a row, and I was just praying for some rain today, never mind the fact that it's like a dust bowl around here. But as usual, the rain misses us. It ALWAYS misses us. This sucks.
