Stadium-Armory
Cheers to you extreme skins message boarders. You deserve a toast for your obvious hand in this win. The coaching staff clearly compiled all our threads in to a checklist, and took it with them to the game on Sunday. I'm pretty sure that's what was on JoeG's clipboard on the side lines. How else could you explain the erie lock-step parallels between our threads and the way the game played out: * Campbell needs to be more involved, Let him control the game: 23-of-29 for 248 * Offense is too predictable: Direct snaps to Portis. Campbell split out wide. * Our defensive line gets no pressure: 5 sacks, massive pressure all day long. * Why don't we use Sellars more at the goal line: check * Why don't we use Sellars more between the 20s: check * Where's Carlos Rogers: pick6 * Where's Brandon Lloyd: At least he got a catch! Baby steps.. * Why does't Gibbs have confidence in this team: 4th and 2 - go for it. * Why is James Thrash even out there: To catch balls, and run back kicks for 60yds. * Where's Sean Taylor: Killing people on kickoffs and making interceptions. * How quickly can McCardell be a factor: instantly So its obvious to me. If we identify it, they will address it. So here's a toast to you ExtremeSkinners - you clearly set the tone for this game. Keep up the good work! [[ghost]]
I like your post. Out of that entire list though, my favorite would be the offensive brilliance and the Rogers pick. To see our O go for the kill, and then to see Carlos FINALLY getting a pick and than taking it to the house is by far the highlight of the season thus far. Stadium-Armory
Up next for us: * Start a thread on how Suisham needs to be more consistant at long kicks * Start a thread on how we need to recover some of those fumbles * Start a thread on how we need better stretching of the hamstrings * Start a thread on how this could be a trap game for Green Bay. ..and that should about do it! Book my playoff tickets..
