monte55coleman
oof.. he makes great plays one minute, and then misses a huge opportunity to ice the game. He is just one step away from becoming a complete player, but man the baby steps he takes in getting there are frustrating. Our defense should not have been under that much stress toward the end, but god bless LARON LANDRY. MVP of the game.
NAILBOMB9
JC "HAS" to make that throw...simple as that. Here I complain all the time that our offense is too conservative and then we call that play and JC chokes. Gotta have those if you want to be a big time QB. redskins_rob
I don't care if he makes baby steps in getting there if we win while he makes them. MVP = Rocky McIntosh.
PCS
He's a young quarterback who has how many starts? Yeah. Just that many. He is still going to break your heart at times, but those times look to be coming less and less frequently.
stevenaa
Look. He's started, what, 8 games now? It will come. That is not a high percentage throw, and he hits most of his long throws.

Meskeet21
i feel bad for santana, growing pains with JC. but yea he doesnt even have a full season under him, but man seeing santana that wide open and not completing it!!!! i think his heart skipped a beat when he saw him, oh well. :eaglesuck
JGrubs
It looked like he threw fewer high passes this week than he did last week, there still were some that were too high and some too long, but I think he is getting better and if we can keep everyone healthy we appear to be on our way to a great season! Better decisions, better intermediate and short throws, and except with one glaring exception he had a pretty good game. Towards the end of this season that throw is a touchdown 100% of the time. XSean21TaylorX
as long as HE CAN throw downfield!!!!!!!!!!!! cough:brunell: cough he will get better and we will seeing bombs and compeletions like that more often
Stormy
Yes, he missed that game sealing bomb to Moss (great playcall). However, in our scoring drives how many times did he provide the incredibly accurate drive sustaining pass, the timely scramble, the clutch pass off the bootleg? Jason's becoming a guy who doesn't just 'manage' games, he CREATES offense. When he starts hitting the big play, that will be the icing on the cake. What an enormous improvement from the days of 1 dimensional Brunell, and defenses stacking the box against a purely running/lateral pass game. DeoreDX
He's looked like a rookie at times but when he looks good, he looks really good. The fact that he didn't let that INT phase him and he came out and played a HECK of a 3rd quarter was nice... showed a lot of poise.

Our defense should not have been under that much stress toward the end, but god bless LARON LANDRY. MVP of the game. Come on just back off of JC. Even Steve Young was saying he has done that - over thrown. And so do many veteran QB. JC has an awsome arm and Moss was not running straight down the field. Like they said give JC couple of more weeks and the D is good as it is now you might be looking at a Playoff team. I am putting the Skins in the SB!!!! rcgamer
No way any Skins fan should be griping about the QB position right now. Campbell is young and extremely talented. He is STILL learning as he goes though so a bad play is to be expected from time to time. But really, how many young still raw QBs can direct an offense to 20 points against a Jimmy Johnson defense? I see nothing but good things for the SKins for this year and the future. This offense is only going to get better as the year goes on.
Pistolkid
Blah, these threads halt the enjoyment of the positive. The fact of the matter is we won, nothing else goes towards our record at the end of the game other than a win or a loss. Don't worry about Campbell, he has to have some of those plays to learn from his mistakes and improve on them. If there aren't any mistakes made, there is no wisdom gained from the lack of it afterwards. That's the truth.
