That was the one worrisome part of this game IMHO, because our secondary (especially Smoot and Rogers) demonstrated that they need some help in the form of pressure up front. If he can do that consistently, then eventually a double-team is coming his way, which should free up other D-linemen and LBers to get in there easier. Underwater Ally Posted September 10, 2007 Share Posted September 10, 2007 I consistently seen Andre Carter getting in the backfield and sooo close to hittin the ball out of trent greens hands..so many times... its not even funny..I mean if he had run 1 more sucide in practice he would of got to him. Carter is one of the best conditioned players on the team. Gibbs was talking about that last night. Also, after Carter got a sack ealy in the game, they started rolling green away from Carter's side a lot, and since we weren't blitzing, there was no one else to really bring pressure and force Green to stay where Carter could get to him quickly.
