matty dread
No, no, no, no and NO! We shouldn't have brought him in the first time. Why do it again? George is a joke, always has been, always will be.
Chief skin
AGREED WE SHOULD HAVE NEVER brought him in here in the first place, and that goes for that other BUM SANDERS NO NO NO. We have got to learn from our MISTAKES or we are doomed to repeat them
Riggo-toni
Gee, while we're on the subject of cancers and controversial talents... Did anyone notice that Westbroken said he'd like to play for the Skins in 03 for the vet min. Seriously, he did say that. Said he had a good relationship w/ Snyder... Symbol
No Jeff George, he caused Brad Johnson to leave and have a bad year looking over his shoulder, knowing the owner didn't want him. Sanders, yuk, wish he were back in Dallas. Now Westbrook for the leagues vet minimum, if he were healthy, he's like Rod Gardner in that he's a big strong WR that can take the ball away from a defender. Yeah, but he's NEVER healthy, no muscle is quite as strong as his mouth and he always HAS to take the ball away from the defenders because he can't run a route well enough to get open!He throws a nice helmet, though. And a nice punch. Maybe he can ahve a second career doing Celebrity Boxing. I'll bet he can take that Bonaducci dude.
bulldog
Jeff George and Westbrook are where they should be.....out of the NFL and playing Madden 2003 in Westbrook's famous mansion game room hey, did you catch that leopard print tapestry he had up on the wall during that interview when he was with the Skins? maybe he could be an interior decorator in his next reincarnation?

bubba9497
When I think about Jeff George, all I think about is thet look of fear in his eyes last year on MNF. He doesn't need to come back to DC if only for a visit.
pga
Just thinking about the names George and Westbrook makes me shudder........in a very bad way. (twitch, twitch)
Thinking Skins
dag, so much animosity towards my suggestion. I'm just saying that he's a cheap backup. We could sign him for the vet min and he has some talents. Ok, here's a better option. What about Tim Couch? He's may be done in Cleveland with the upcoming of Holcomb. If he gets cut, u think he'd make a nice third QB?
CBMGreatOne
Sure, we can add Jeff George as our #3 QB, and while we're at it, we can resign Westbrook and Connell to add speed to our receiving corps. I think Terry Glenn is available too, and Leslie Shepherd. Then we can get Deion back while we're at it. And why not Ki Jana Carter? (actually, joking aside, he might even deserve it)

Westbrook is nothing like Rod Gardner, look at what Westbrook has done over his long career, and Gardner has already surpassed most of it in just two seasons. Look how long it took Westbrook to break 1,000 in a season, or look at his rookie season compared to Gardner's. Gardner in time will prove to be head and shoulders better than Westbrook ever was.
