I am on the bandwagon...Bramlet That Is!

in my opinion-- bramlet is one of the 30 best qb's in THE league

that gives us maybe 2 (possibly 3 if brunell is healthy and sharp again)

this cant be a bad thing

that being said bramlet will probobly be cut

qb competitions do not happen in the nfl

bramlet was not hired to make the team

nfl teams dont run their teams much differently than the average fantasy football owners- they read the same magazines, they watch the same espn, and saddly they hear the same mel kiper jr.

"todd collins knows saunders playbook so good that hes a great backup quarterback" --- bull**** --- he could not play in game - hes useless

it is neat that we got carson palmers little brother though

i hope when training camp starts we hear alot on this board from people actually attending practices

qb is an interesting position on this sqaud

Ok, let's sit him on the bench, or worse yet, drop him and get NO VALUE for him. Especially when gibbs has a woody for Booonel, since we drafted a qb, and since we have collins whom knows the offense inside and out.

Oh, and yeah NFL-E translates into NFL talent . . . uh huh.

Thus I SAY get something for him, begin to stockpile draft picks, utilize those draftpicks to fill a position of need . . . . um, er, like maybe the D line . . . or secondary since Springs will soon be gone.

First of all, what's the laughy face for? That just came out of no where?

Anyway, how can we trade Bramlet or as you said "get something for him," if in your opinion NFLE players don't translate into NFL talent? I mean, surely if you know this, NFL scouts also know this.

Because I'm sure there are other people like you out there who have a boner for him. He is being talked about, his stock is rising in some people's minds....

He is getting press coverage. His name is "out there". You can refer to my original post for that quote.

This is, and probably will be the only coverage he gets as a Redskin. He will soon be cut. So yeah, make an announcement that he is "on the block". What will it hurt??????????

Count me in on that bandwagon! I had the opportunity to see some of that game Saturday and am impressed. There are some in the media talking up O'Sullivan (who does look good), but now maybe they will see that Bramlet may be the best QB in Europe right now.

But this will only go so far once camp begins. It would be nice to see our 3rd stringer who is young and has some experience in this offense.

"Boner," what a geeky word.

Yes, I am sure that you are correct that there are those who do get those for him. Eeww. How you would know or care just does not interest me in the slightest.

However, I only get those for women. Why you went there in the first place is beyond me. I simply stated that the guy displayed skills. Does that qualify as having a "boner?"

Also, as far as I know, teams don't trade based on names being "out there." Last I heard they trade based on talent. And according to you, Bramlet can't have much talent because he plays in NFLE.

Romo sits to pee wasn't in NFLE.

Is there somewhere that I could find some highlights or anything on Bramlet to watch? I don't get NFL network.

I had been seeing on different threads on ES how good he's been looking. The pass was a thing of beauty. But, unless he's the 2nd coming of Kurt Warner, no way he beats out Campbell next year. Anyway, I'm now fully aboard the Bramlett Bandwagon!

Ok why is this kid keeps on looking better and better every week. Did anyone see today's game. I just saw the very short highlight (I will catch the replay later tonight) but they were down 3 points and Bramlett connected with his receiver with an awsome LONG pass for a touch down and to win the game. I keep on thinking could he be the next Brady??? Cool and connecting!!!

On Week 4 he was named Offensive Player of NFL Europa after leading the Hamburg Sea Devils to a comprehensive 34-9 victory over the Rhein Fire.

http://www.nfleurope.com/news/story/10172066

The following stats are from week 8 game. In week 4 he had 113.2% rating!

You guys can shoot me if you like and say well it is not NFL but to me football is football. NFL Europe might be at a different level. But all of the player have one thing in mind and that is to win a game. And that is exactly what Bramlet is doing every week for his team.

I would rather have him as a 3rd sting this year and as a backup/starter next year. I am still not totally sold on Campbell yet. What if he turns out to be like Ramsey???

Well these are just my thoughts.....let it rip!!!!

I've been following the progress of Bramlet and I definitely think that he deserves a serious "look" in training camp. Our back-up qb's are aging and this area needs to be addressed. I hope the skins don't blow this !!.
what a prize you have in Laron Landry. I have read posts from some of you about Laron Landry that leads me to believe that some of you don't know talent. Your negative comments about Laron Landry is way off the mark. All you want to see is the crushing hits by a safety and that's it. Trust me, there is a reason your team and their talent scouts grabbed him at 6. Let me explain:

Athleticsm - A+ LL is probably more athletic than Sean Taylor. You will see that this year and more next year.

Heavy Hits- Sean Taylor is 228, LL is 208. Sean wins this catagory but Laron is no softie.

Speed- A+ LL over ST hands down. LL knows how to use his speed and does not over run plays very often.

Last line of defense- A+....On COUNTLESS PLAYS over the past two years, I have witnessed LL flying accross the field from one side to the other to stop a RB after a 20 yard gain that would have gone all the way if we had an average safety or a safety with average speed. Laron Landry has saved so many TD's for LSU that I cannot count them all. Did you all watch the Sugar Bowl. One of ND's long runs would have gone for a TD if it weren't for LL flying accross the field and knocking the RB out of bounds after a 20+ yard gain it would have been a 70 yard td run. Your average safety cannot do this and I doubt that Sean Taylor can do this with his speed. I am talking running almost the width of the field and blasting a RB out of bounds. A RB that was about to take it to the house.

In the Box - A+ LL is the best safety in the box. Just ask the talent scouts and watch the videos.

Tackling - A+....a very sure tackler, will not miss many.

Speed - A+...4.35/40 = Fastest Safety in Football

Blitzing - A+....you have seen the video

Mentality - A+....LL knows his Safety position better than any college player ever to come out of college including Sean Taylor. He will master his position in the NFL. LL is a smart player.

Work ethic - A+....very hard worker. This is why he will make an impact on your defense this year. He will not stop until he has it mastered. Remember, LL is a 4 year starter in the SEC. Started playing the safety position as a freshman.

Durability - A+....no significant injuries in 4 years. Did not miss any games.

Hands - B.....has dropped some INT's....this is Laron's only weakness but it is not like he drops them every game. I think he averaged 3 drops per season.

Bottomline is this, you guys that think LL is average because he is not as heavy of a hitter as Sean Taylor is laughable. I am sure that by the end of this season you will all be on the LL bandwagon.

Congrats on landing the best safety to come along in quite some time.

Thanks for the links, I just watched a highlight of the game against Cologne.

None of you have noticed Bramlets weird throwing motion? Seems to me doesn't follow through on his throws and the ball comes out at a strange angle. I don't know if I like that. Compare that to Palmer's throwing motion and it's downright ugly. Palmer seems a lot more orthodox and fluid. I dunno. I'm still sketpical.

As a number three if he beats out Palmer? Sure.

NFL Europe IS different. Didn't a guy named Romo sits to pee do really well there only to eff up the easiest, yet most important, play that a quarterback can make?

Didn't Romo sits to pee get selected to the Probowl and take his team to the playoffs? If Bramlet can be as good as one of our backups I will take that anyday:point2sky
