I hear you, I am not a big fan of the Gold R Helmet. I heard that they went to that style of helmet the year Lombardi coached the Skins and they wanted something similar to Green Bay. If you look at the jerseys the stripes on the sleves looks the same as the Packers Jerseys.

The jerseys with a patch are not the throwbacks. Throwbacks will be available to right before or right after the regular season starts. I'm also pretty sure we are wearing the jerseys only for the Miami game and the Lions game. The reason we are only wearing them twice is that the players don't like changing helmets.

Like others have said, there will be another alternate jersey like the throwback uni's you mention that the team will wear a few times during the season. They will wear these every other game though, the normal jersey but with a 75th ani patch

My all time fave uni is the 70th Anniversary. I know they aren't popular but I really loved them. I'm not a fan of the yellow helmet but gold pants are the best.

If I were allowed to choose the redskin uniforms, I'd go with spearhead helmet, burg jersey for home, white for away, and gold pants for both.

I thought we were using the throwbacks, with the gold/yellow. In that scenario my fav. would be white jersey yellow pants. It already suits Laron so well.

That's because we have never worn that combo....at least since I can remember.

It would be sweet to see us go all burgundy this year ala the broncos' all blue or the eagles' all black.
