OaktonSkins/BushFan
but thats a low blow. Ill admit he sucks just as much as the next guy in the secondary. But for a guy who is hiding behind a T.V. camera to say that is downright stupid He's only been retired from the NFL for two years. Considering the fact that he had quite a successful career, he's got carte blanche to say whatever he wants about the miserable AA.
flexxskins
I think Archuleta played well actually. Yes he gave up one play today but everyone gives up plays. What game were you watching? The only time he plays half decent is when he is on the LOS.
Jshac48
For what it's worth AA isn't and has never been a coverage Safety...he's a run stopping safety so why expect anything different. About the long TD pass...it's a tough play for the Safety. After watching the replay, that play is tough to stop for anybody. The way the colts run it puts a lot of stress on the safety. They ran a guy down the seam (which holds the safety) and gives Manning just enough space to get the skinny post to the outside receiver. Add the fact there's no pass rush and you have a well designed play for a TD.

They said that AA wanted to play for Lovie but we offered way too much money to pass up.
Voice of Reason
The plan was to have Prioleau spell Archuleta on passing downs. But nevertheless, it's clear that Archuleta isn't worth three times as much as Ryan Clark.
skinz4evr
Except for a couple of missed tackles by TVincent, the D looked like it was playing better with him in there instead of AA.

[[ghost]]
archuleta got beat deep on what 1 play?while peyton carved up rumph, springs, and wright.... exacltly. It's so easy blaming Archuleta, because he has a history of being bad in coverage. Please. While he isn't exactly helping back there either, he does tackle very very well. He isn't being utilized correctly, but god damn, regardless of what safety is back there, our DBs are not making plays.

Well, it isn't worth much. He hasn't even tackled particularly well this season. He's a loser, a bust.....at least for $40M he is. He should be embarrased, ashamed and walk into Snyder's office offering a full refund. He's a bum. He's a loser and doesn't deserve to wear the B&G. mikeyf316
archuleta got beat deep on what 1 play?while peyton carved up rumph, springs, and wright.... He blew the inside coverage and support on either the second or third Harrison TD. He, and whoever was on Harrison, were both two steps behind 88 as he went in untouched. His responsibility was to be deeper than Harrison. He wasn't. That's getting beat deep.

chow184
AA did get faked out really bad in that long throw by Manning. faked out how ?he had to honor the TE that was releasing upfield. kenny wright thought he could slack off on the play and dump reggie wayne on arch. if archuleta dropped all the way back to cover up wayne beating wright the ball is going to the TE. arch was screwed when the ball got snapped
