No_Pressure
Golston hands down. This kid is a 6th rounder? Well he sure hasnt been playing like it. I love Salavea and all but I am very glad that we have a talented rookie who can fill in for him when he gets tired or hurt. I think young Kendrick has a bright future as an all around pass rushing and run stopping DT here in Washington, he has really impressed me with his solid mistake free play these last few games. tehhunter
We havent seen too much of Rocky yet, but I think he'll meet our expectations or even further them. He ran over LINEMAN during the preseason to make the tackle. Can't wait to see him in there.
MonkFan8
Golston looks like a 10 year vet out there. He seems to know exactly where to go, and when to get his hands up and smack a pass down. I'm extremely impressed with how he's filled in thus far.
redmo002
Have to totally agree with this. Golston was constantly getting pressure and plugging the running lanes. He looks to be a really good late round pick.
Dirk McGirk
yea i was happy to see golston push the center straight back into leftwhich's face on one play. He could be really good
Rdskn4Lyf21
Golston is a beast. The pressure he has gotten single-handedly is amazing. What an awesome pick.
No_Pressure
Another thing we havent seen much of along with Rocky McIntosh is Anthony Montgomery and I think its because of how Golston has performed. The defense coverage wise should get better with Springs back but the D-Line is getting a bit of swagger back. Also congratulations Andre Carter for logging your first sack as a Redskin, and Phillip Daniels for logging your first and probably only interception. Also, Demetric Evans is getting great pressure. The D-Line had a good game today.

DWinzit
I didn't get to see the game. Reading this stuff is really exciting!!!! I questioned his choice in the draft, but GW can really find these guys!!!
RabidFan
Wynn was getting sick pressure of the left end as well.....he is a gamer and I love the cat.

No_Pressure
Wynn was getting sick pressure of the left end as well.....he is a gamer and I love the cat. That too, he deserves a lot of credit, one of those sacks was because Leftwich had to step up cause Wynn was almost on top of him. Renaldo isnt known for a good pass rush as much as his great run stopping ability but man he really was putting 110% into getting some pressure and it was paying off. The D-Line really showed up today that along with Sean Taylor and a few Carlos Rogers hits was the ultimate bright spot of the defense.
RedskinLifer
This conversation begins and ends with Golston. He's the best value pick the Redskins have made since Rock.
Critz1407
Golston has been awesome all around, he has made plays every game, I can't wait for Rocky to get out there though Holdman isn't doing badly either.

Redskin4ever
It is good to see them get some good luck in the late rounds of the draft. Goldston is a monster in there.
B.Lloyd
Golston is a beast. My cousin has connections inside Georgia football, and knows many of the players including Golston. He says Golston is a beast if healthy. Do not forget that Golston was a Parade All American before the devastating car accident. He has speed, size, and instincts; this kid is gonna be something special.

No_Pressure
Also, I left out how badly Griffin was man-handling everybody today, he was also swatting down passes. Big game for the D-Line. I am impressed.
DjTj
I just posted this in another thread, but I just realized that the pick we used to select Golston was actually the one we got from Carolina when we traded them Rod Gardner. Looks like we got the better end of that deal. :point2sky
wbar3383
I like the kids as well. If Carter , Daniels, and Wynn get ina groove like i think I see them doing, it will be a very solid good d-line.
