Stophovr6
I want to see him play but the closest team to me is the Canucks and they don't even play each other this season. Bummer.

PokerPacker
we have some decent talent right now who are going to improve with him. jeff freisen, jamie hewerd, jeff halpern, and if things go right next year, we'll have alexander semin as well. we need a few more good prospects and a new goalie. DeanCollins
I was a caps fan from the begining. after moving to St. Pete in '92 became a season ticket holder for the TBL to watch the caps etc...when they came to town. had to give up of them. sorry race fans.... iheartskins
Holy **** is that guy good. Wow. Gotta start following the caps games again. I stopped following them in around '98 when I went away to college and didn't have daily access to paper copies of the Washington Post. Sylvain Cote was my boy. SkinsOrlando
Great to see the Caps with a young talent, that kid is crazy good. I didn't know he could lay the wood on people, some of those hits were sick.
herrmag
Once we get another forward that is a serious threat on his line, you'll see AO's production go up even more. Right now he is double-teamed and focused on more than any other player on the ice. He's only 20, he can't do it all by himself. Zubrus is supposed to be that "other" guy, but his inconsistent play has led to defensemen slacking on him.
rincewind
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! That reel was stunning - and it is from LESS then one season! Caps fans there is a bright future - i need to wear shades.

A few corrections. Jeff Friesen was traded for a second rounder to Anahiem at the trade deadline. Jamie Heward is a fill-in for another season or two. The d-men to keep an eye on are Shaone Morissonn (pronounced Sean), Steve Eminger and Mike Green.

Yeah, Greenie has been looking real good over the past 20 games or so. I just wish Witt had wanted to stay around - it would have been nice to have that leadership on the blueline. freakinandpeakin
I don't have anything against Heward, but he is turning 35 in a couple of weeks and on most teams would be on the third defensive pairing. If he sticks around for a couple of more years he will have filled his role and be a 37 year old. But he isn't a long term solution for this team.
