Mister Happy
Actually his QB rating over his career with the Chiefs is 105.3 with a 66.7 completion percentage.
Bigmuss1
The only reason Collins was brought in was to help Brunell and Campbell learn the new system, he will not see the field unless emergency circumstances play a role. Everyone relax, in Brunell we trust for one more year!!
Bigmuss1
Is that in one game or one quarter?
FenixKYN
I honestly wouldn't be that surprised. Campbell may not be ready. Ramsey will probably be gone, and Brunell could easily get injured. Plus, he knows the offense. I don't understand why people think the idea of him getting some starts seems so ludicrous?

Blondie
I think Tom Collins, or Phill Collins or even Kerry Collins has a better shot than Todd does.    Too funny! Blondie
kreitmaster
I think the shock would be upwards of 100 volts and would probably kill me.
RedskinsSuperBowl21
The purpose of collins is to translate the al suanders offense to our QBs...he will never see the field..and im sure hee knows his situation
Duke
I see him as a Jason Campbell's mentor. I doubt if he'd even be activated in each week.
kevinklein
Yes, probably because I'd never heard his name spoken until a couple days ago.
ZoEd
Everyone keep's saying Campbell won't or may not be ready. If that's the case why did we use a 1st round pick on him. Honestly if he was so damn good that we passed on players we "needed" to draft him, how can he not be ready?
whatmeworry
I really don't know much about Todd Collins other than he knows Saunders system very well. Would it stump us all if he were to win the starting position after the pre-season? You never know. Who would of thought that Tom Brady would have ever started, much less win 3 Superbowls. Shock seems like too passive of a word.

SkinsDukes
If Todd Collins where the starter I'd need a couple Tom Collins... Oddly enought that is the same thing Kerry Collins says. ...okay, cheap shot I know

redmo002
I'd definitely be shocked. He was only brought in to be the 3rd string and so he can teach the other 2 Saunders' offense.

ironmic
actually it wouldnt he has a strong arm and is a smart QB not too mobile and not alot of upside but he can play and knows the system lord forbid if Brunell pulls another hammy
visionary
You never know...it could happen. I kind of want to see what he can do, but I would sure as heck rather it never got to that point and I don't think it is anywhere close to likely. I might pass out if he beat out Brunell and Campbell in Preseaon and training camp, but if Brunell goes down in the first game or so, sure it would not at all surprise me to see Collins in there for the next few games or so at least. That said, what makes him so intruiging is that none of us really have any idea what he is capable of. For all we know, he could be another Rich Gannon. Peregrine
Id be shocked if Todd Collins won the #2 job quite frankly. Lets put it this way. As innefective as Brunell was throughout a large part of last year, he still had more TDs than Collins has in his career. His 11 year career.
