fdarugar
Come on now dont be such HOMERS, Jerry and Danny are in this together. I am behind both owners 100% , just Like i would be behind any player getting their fair market value. Don't see homerism going on on this thread, but whatever...Dan and Jerry are friends and I am pretty sure they would be on the same boat regarding most topics. Zen-like Todd
Sorry dirk but there are not that many billionaires in the owners club, as far as i know Jones and Synder are the only pure billionaires. The others are hundred millionares. Don't confuse personal wealth with the net worth of the team. Paul Allen is a billionaire many, many, many times over. richard saunders
All good news to me. We need a united front, so good for Jerry:) They would all probably be at Snyder's house if it weren't for the pesky Park Service. They always ruin our fun:)
gambit187
Don't confuse personal wealth with the net worth of the team. Paul Allen is a billionaire many, many, many times over. I know that but out of the 32 teams, less then half of them are billionares. Thats all i was saying. They all still stinking rich.

No, its not what you said. You know gambit, its ok to admit you're wrong. You might actually get a little respect from people if you did.
wskin44
Thanks D. I'm hoping that jerry and Danny are working together. I don't want Upshaw and the socialist owners forcing an unfair deal down the throat of our franchise. As far as I'm concerned jerry & Dan should tell the rest of the league that if they don't shape up then they will never support a cap again. Art
I'm inclined to believe you and it does make sense. I'd actually prefer no deal myself :0.
SkinsHokieFan
Lets be honest, as much as we all hate JJ he has been an innovate owner since he joined the NFL Dan Snyder is the next generation of JJ's vision, expanding local revenues and the team being able to market itself. Remember the Pepsi, Coke flap JJ had in the mid 1990s? It is no surprise he would be the "ring leader" here, but its clear there will be several owners not happy with this deal
CrypticVillain
If this is true I would not be supprised, I do not care what the NFL and the owners do I just do not want a strike in 2008. If thier is a strike I guess I will just try out for the strike team. Who was they the Washington Scabs or Scrubs or something like that.
Dinello
Thanks for the update D, keep it coming I probably won't be able to get any info. from my source (sorry, had to call him that again) tomorrow regarding the meetings any faster than the media. MSO will be in Dallas which limits the availability to him by the front office. MSO and/or the GM is supposed to call the staff while they are in meetings and let them know which way they should start attacking free agency. I will let you know what I know when I know it!!!! HTTR!!!!!!! p.s. - Snyder is not being painted as the bad guy in these negotiations and trust me, MSO hates him and would blame him if he could. Anytime I visit him their GM rips me about Snyder and the Skins.

Peregrine
heres a good question. Is Jerry Jones doing this on purpose to hurt his most hated rival? Considering how Dallas is in better cap shape than we are, is there any chance he sees an opportunity to not let the CBA go through(until after the season starts, THEN let it go through) just to hurt us more? NavyDave
I'm not going to bash Jerrah or Danny if they don't want to sign off on a contract that punishes them for signing players to make their team better (The over cap BS) or give up their outside revenue to teams with slacker owners who wont help themselves with corporate dollars like stadium naming rights. edgun88
Of course ... Plastic Jerry and Snyder are the reasons for this

Considering how Dallas is in better cap shape than we are, is there any chance he sees an opportunity to not let the CBA go through(until after the season starts, THEN let it go through) just to hurt us more? I'm sure it doesn't hurt it any..... but... I would say with virtual certainty that Jones, Snyder, and Kraft are on the same page on this issue. They have other avenues of revenue that would be shared. I don't think they should have to. The NFL shares revenue from TV and every other contract they sign. They share more than enough money. Every team has the same opportunity to make money on its own. Teams should not be penalized for thinking outside the box. As bitter a pill as Snyder would have to swallow, the end would justify the means.

RiggoReincarnated
Dinello is giving AndyMan a run for his money, as far as the CBA is concerned. Good Stuff. I swear if this doesn't go through...the stands are going to be dangerous when we play the Cowboys next year. Talk about bringing bad blood to the table.
