I always thought it was a cutting board, but who would cut anything on a piece of granite? I've accidentally laid frozen meat on it just for no other reason as to put it down and do something. It thaws food out like nothing I have ever seen. I put 2 pieces of frozen fish on there yesterday and like 5 minutes later they were completely thawed. You ever heard of this?
