StepyagameuP
Last I heard Darren Howard was unhappy in N.O. I believe this statement is still true. On top off that rumors are that N.O. is not too high on Aaron Brooks either(dont recall source). Ramsey and a 4th rounder for Howard would solve this problem. N.O has already found a suitable replacement for Howard in Will "Fresh Prince of Bel Air " Smith. They would be losing a contract in Howard, getting a new QB that has potential if placed in the right situation, and allowing a much less paid Smith take over at DE. Skins would get their pass rusher and on top of that still have our 2nd and 3rd rounders in the draft to go after a WR,TE,DT,CB,OL,S, whatever talent management is looking at. :2cents:

Thats the main reason dallas backed out of tradeding for him last year.... money
StepyagameuP
Yeah good point plus they pick second which probably means a QB coming their way. Keep Brooks as a backup.
kevinklein
I personally believe you should use Ramsey to grab another wide reciever...but if we're able to pick one up from free agency, trading for Howard would be an ideal move. Ideal moves, however, don't actually happen to often.
e16bball
Howard is a UFA, so you want him at the franchise tender level? I'd like to bring in Howard, but not in a trade. We can get a better deal than the franchise tender by just signing him...and if we can't, we shouldn't sign him.
REDSKINSQ
we dont need someone like howard we need some one more like big joe who wants to prove somthing to his teamates and the nfl.
thespaniard
Howard will not be franchised by the Saints. If the Redskins want him, they can just sign him outright, no trade necessary. Howard's play has dropped off as of late however, and is not worth the big money he will want, although someone will probably give it to him... Die Hard
Why would you trade Ramsey for an unrestricted free agent?
Whiskeypeet
Why would you trade Ramsey for an unrestricted free agent? Well actually we wouldn't trade for a UFA. What we would do is convince them to franchise him again so he has a current year salary of $10M or so. THEN we trade Ramsey for him..........

WeownU
Nobody is going to give anything of value for Ramsey. Jesus guys, he wasn't even good enought to beat out Brunell. Nobody wants him, get it through your head. Especially New Orleans, for Gods sake, they have the #2 pick in the draft. Can you say.........Matt Leinart? mcarey032
It would boost our defensive pass rush. I think that money will be the make or break issue.
